Dump trailer has one advantage in my book, it is lower to the ground. That said i bought an 85 chevy c30 with a flatbed dump. It will serve all my puckup truck needs.

I have been debating whether to get a dump truck or a dump trailer. Both have pros and cons. Dump trailer will be better for my needs as I have a compact tractor I can use to load it some. Good video 👍

What length bed does your dump truck have I have a 1997 Chevy 1 ton 4x4 with an 8ft bed, a dump truck is very handy I’ve always got a project I’m using mine on. Mine is electric up and gravity down I like it that way I’ve used dump trucks that are electric up and electric down I’m not a fan it is to slow

Mine also has a 8’ bed. It’s electric up & gravity down as well. Dump trucks are very handy indeed. I’ve already used mine to haul firewood, I used it when I cleaned out my pond to haul the sludge & a few loads of stone for a french drain. Plus the old school standard, roll down windows no AC all of it is nostalgic for me. Thanks for watching!

It has a Chevy 350, just over 95,000 on the odometer.

Nice truck!!! Is that a pto knob? And is that a 454. My fav truck. Whats the odometer say?How many miles on FRED? That is a super minty boi. I just found my square body boi BullyBlue a 1990 Chevy 1ton 454, manual 4x4 with fiberglass tool box bed. The bully name is because he came with a Mack bulldog on the hood and we bully snow banks and he's blue:). It was a forestry truck with only 52K on it. I'm in Alaska I plow a lot of snow. The new weak trash trucks of today can't handle being used as a tractor. To much new crap, wires,tv's, airbags tampon dispensers etc. Crumple zones on a truck frame work real good when you put a plow on it IE they crumple:( When i drive a square body all day bashing snowbanks than get in a newer truck I realize that the new trucks are made for a supersoft girlbois. I have a newer truck it had a 9 inch tv in the dash. I ripped it out and now i put my hat it the tv hole. The stupid lower48ers keeps putting bigger and bigger tvs on the dashboard when they can't even be bothered to look at the road for more than 5 seconds because they text and drive why is this a thing? The trucks of 2030 will have a 90'' tv emplace of a front windshield, you will have to stick your head out the window to see and the shifter will be a bright pink dildo that will dispense lotion to keep the hands soft. It will have a special storage compartment for furry costumes, manmakeup ,northface jackets and crocs.

The knob next to the shifter is for lowering the dump body. Electric up & gravity down. Chevy 350 motor which does well. The old vehicles definitely have much less complicated workings & it makes it much easier to work on. Thanks for watching!
