So much wood in those big pieces

At the HFH there was a three Eastonmade splitters feeding the conveyor, one was a Ultra, the other was a 12-22, and I don’t remember what the 3rd one was? I was impressed with the conveyor being able to handle the volume of wood it was being fed.

I brought some of my own gess this wood to the Hoosier County veterans event. I handed it off to Chris, I believe he made a video talking about it. (But I don't think it's published yet) It's uneek to the wet side of Oregon Washington and BC, Canada. No where else on earth. It's world record size is about 15" at well over 100 years old.

Perfect food for both splitters, very satisfying to watch while I'm stuck here at work. Makes me wish I was in the wood yard right now. 😀

hi there the axes makes a lot nicer wood with a fraction of the waist . and i think is just about as fast , less mess clean up time combined with more wood may be the better splitter .best to all john

The Axis does make nice looking bundle wood. The bark on the "mystery" wood did look like persimmon.
@benscoles50855 ай бұрын
sure does, look like it, and cutting it will be proof, it is pretty hard wood, We cut some on the band saw mill, made 8 inch or so boards, tough as nails.

The slicing edges of your cutter appear really blunt. Shown by the ragged leading edges of your pieces.

Maybe put a plastic container by the Axis to push the shavings from the Axis into, instead of on the ground.🤔👍🤘

Very nice machines! When I was young, I didn't know that the hairy vines were poison ivy. Cut down and cut up a whole tree. I was completely covered in poison ivy blisters. It was horrible! Have a great day!
