Triceps are hard to work. Push vs pull activity is different.

The sign of an expert is when complex ideas get simplified down effectively. Train triceps, glutes and hamstrings and everything else will fall into place. Cheers man.

I’m 19, and if I trained like most ppl my age and tried to get strong as fast as I could I’d be living in a wheelchair at 28, telling people my biggest lift was trying to get out of bed

Reddit is really valuable with certain things like finding new video games or music, but when it comes to any training advice; it’s like the rest of the internet. Mostly surface level with no real substance or thought behind it. Keep moving Matt, you guys are killing it. 🔥

the powerlifting reddit people asking the same shit every day over and over again. You can't even make a topic there because it just gets deleted. You have to put your question in the daily topic which makes a comment on a post and unsearchable. So therefore, the same questions just get asked over and over. There's also the problem that whoever the regulars are bias all advice towards their personal opinions.

Hey Matt, thank you for sharing your knowledge and i learned new things that triceps help stabling the shoulder joint. I used to have one side shoulder pain however by seeing your videos i started doing repetition work on rear delts and triceps and it worked. Now i am able to bench press without any pain. Again thank you for sharing all your knowledge for free in this platform.

Hey Matt, I’m a millennial so I know a thing or two about Reddit. I don’t think it’s worth your time to even pay attention to anything on that website. If you try posting a dissident opinion concerning anything, you are banned. It is not a place for intellectual discussions

Even if glutes, hamstrings and triceps aren't a weakness, you should still focus on making them stronger. Matt is the best source of knowledge on youtube when it comes to strength and fitness. He gives the most real advice that's applicable to both natural and enhanced lifters. Not many have great advice for natural lifters.

18 year old kid asked me a year ago in the gym how to get stronger on the bench. His form was all shoulders. Told him the last thing he expected - stop flat barbell benching for 2 or 3 months and focus on back and triceps. Got all the time in the world at that age why rush it

Kinds weird advice, just learn proper bench technique AND grow those other muscles and the same time? Specificity is real.
@rl00668Ай бұрын
@mac5917 sometimes proper technique is only doable when you have the right muscles developed to do it
