I gotta say, I think I agree with you on this one. Not that Alastor doesn't have beef with Vox-- that's probably pretty apparent-- but as we've seen, what really pushes Alastor's buttons is being called irrelevant. "Stayed Gone" is such a fantastic song. It perfectly establishes Vox and Alastor's dynamic. The fact fact Vox was so hot-headed and felt the need to assert dominance in the first place, while Alastor stays collected and nonchalant already suggests who's superior. But the way Alastor just casually tunes in, hits Vox back even harder, and completely airs out is dirty laundry just proves it. And then there's the end, with Alastor giving his own warning and showing his demon form. It's awesome, creepy, and let's us know for certain he's got a hidden agenda. And ot's going to change everything.

I finally realized the deer aspects in his design are supposed to be that he’s a wendigo. In the original myth, wendigos were just normal people, until they got hungry at which point they would become a monster and eat human flesh. Since Alastor is cannotically a cannibal, he fits the criteria of a wendigo. Amazing visual storytelling guys!

I love how Vox and Alastor's designs not only parallel each other (color and pinstriped clothing) but are also attributed to their respective technologies. Al could have been a literal radio like Vox, but Al's attribute is only through audio since his gimmick is the radio, so we can only HEAR that part through his voice, whereas Vox's attribute is VISUAL by the fact that he's a literal tv. This could simply be a coincidence but I think it's fun to think about.

I don't think Alastor overrode Vox directly. I think he knew it would happen if he got under Vox's skin. It really shows why Vox is an overlord. Before he was kind of low rank for one, but that scene shows that he's connected to, controls, and powers basically ALL of Hell's electricity. Because of course, why would Hell have built in electricity and WiFi? That's not something Lucifer Cares about. In the latest episode he said he doesn't watch TV because it 'scrambles the brain'. I think that's more than just him being old school. We see Vox control people with his eye. Which I think is really interesting because we see Pentious do it too. Which reminds me of the snake from the jungle book. However, Pentious uses it as a defense mechanism, just for seconds on angel long enough to get away from him. It makes me sad because if Pentious was just more mature/less innocent/more educated (He very much reminds me of a kid who grew up with the smarts of a god but got bullied for being nerdy thus dropped out of social circles and society and didn't progress far in that regard) he could have potentially been an overlord. He might have even been able to fill Vox's role in terms of being a tech genius with the ability to hypnotize people.

I like the dynamic with vox and Valentino here: valentino is a self centered, abusive man child who can get easily angered and will react to it without thinking of the consequences of his actions. He is basically a temperamentfull wild card. vox on the other hand is a businessman trying to have everything perfect and in control and unlike valentino will think of the consequences of the actions they might do. Valentino is easily angered and doesn‘t thinks things through while vox is more careful and tries to make things without damaging his public image. Despite how different they seem through they have their similarities: they Act charismatic and affable to the public or people they want to manipulate but beneath the facades are little children that get angered if they don‘t get what they want. They way they approach their issues are different however with Val being more temperamentfull and with vox being more thoughtful about what he is doing.

I like the this episode establishes Vox‘s personality. A flamboyant and charismatic businessman trying to be the next big thing of everything. Always trying to be in the center of situations at everything that is happening. And when something is attracting the masses eyes, he will make use of the situation to have the puplic‘s eyes on him again( like him taking the advantage of next extermination to make a new profit). Which explains his inferiority complex to Alastor: he is more famous and powerful then Alastor, so vox tried to control him by having him join his team, but Alastor denied it. Alastor is Someone vox can‘t control, who is better then vox at everything: influence, powers, charisma and vox envies him for it. And through this jealousy his more childish side comes out, always trying to upstage him in the spotlight. And that what makes vox a interesting villain to me: He seems like a businessman who is always in control in the situation but beneath it is a child trying to be in the center of attention and getting easily jealous when someone else gets the attention.

I tried to stay away, to wait for more seasons but its too magnetic There is a convination of elements in this show I know I wont find anywwhere else The color palette is ALIVE, the colors effects, the plays of neon colors of bright and darker colors while still being harmonious is something I was missing The character designs are GREAT, no one looks normal, no one, they have humanoid forms but its so altered and I love it, I have enough of seeing humans lol, something so different feels so good. Things are TRULY different, its not just cute girls and boys with little horns as a design like, there are fcking flavours The scale of the cast and worldbuilding is just getting more and more intriguing and bigger, more characters and more dynamics between classes of demons to explore, each demon has a terrible story to share to end up in hell, and the hellborn are intrinsically different by their different lifestyles as a demons depending on the ring where they grew up And the SONGS, oh the songs I didnt expect to love the singers so much, and I think I underestimated how a well built song can elevate the emotion of so many scenes Now this is the msot general points I love about this show Im so far gone into it
