This wasn't just a special flight back home, it was also the first JetBlue flight to Portland, Maine this season. And what's more, it's the first time JetBlue has EVER flown the A220 to PWM. With the airline retiring its Embraer 190 fleet, its Northeast short-haul network will be seeing a lot more of the brand new, 140-seat Airbus 220-300s. @alexanderordinary2110 A great airplane from a passenger perspective but the higher CASM makes it a hard choice for airlines, especially when the 220 only has a slightly longer delivery backlog.

@@flapsnslats CASM? What the heck is "CASM"? All I know is that for a big guy like me, it is easily the most comfortable plane out there, especially if the seat pitch is around 32in. It is also noticebly more quiet than even the new gen jets. I would call it "spooky quiet"...
