I'm 38 now and it's been a challenge, but I'm in a good place now after Psychotherapy and therapy. I'm better for it and like you said it makes you wise and see what's really important in life. When you go through so much trauma, you can either let it consume you and break you or you can become the person and protector you always wished you had in your life. It gives you back a purpose and in a way helps you heal that part of you that was hurt. I've had a ex who would strangle me and I would look into his eyes and I saw the devil. I remember I grabbed his gold chain and broke it to get away and I recall how mad he was over his chain. I thought unbelievable you almost killed me and your worried about your chain and than my son's father knocked my front teeth out. I swallowed my teeth from him hitting me so hard. We do recover. I lost both my parents too. I lost my mom when I was 25 yr old than two years later I lost my father when I was 27 yr old. It's so hard so I'll keep bunnie xo in my prayers 🙏
