well done, just understanding the calls adnd remebering them is an achievement in itself! I'm intrigued to look into imac

Cheers buddy. That’s my club which I run with a friend. We’ve only had it for just over a year. 38 members now, mixed experience, great crew.

I was having trouble just following the calls! Well done.

Thanks! You get used to them and then remember them quite quickly. I can fly it without a caller now, although prefer having one.

Well Done!, it will get easier and better... when I first started flying F3N (Freestyle helicopter aerobatics) you fly 7 set maneuvers, the first time OMG, but keep going as after doing them several thousand times the actually become your "Safe Space" Congratulations on the huge step which is wanting to learn and compete !

Thanks for the support. I’ve flown it around twenty times now, it’s surprising how addictive it gets! Its much better now but still plenty of room for improvement. I’ll keep practicing!

@@MattTakharRC that's the key , break it down and do it in manageable chunks.... then as you get better put it together ! but above all enjoy !

Geez, all those commands… And you made it look pretty easy.

I was shaking afterwards lol. Not sure why, sometimes the camera adds pressure. It may have been trying to hear what’s next and remember and not crash… that could be it 🤣

Would be great to get some more promotion to imac by doing some vids of the comps!

I’m hoping to be at the first UK comp, competing and filming and of course promoting IMAC 👍🏽

Matt, every flight is a learning expereince, find the best way to suit yourself, there is an excellent book by Peter Jenkins from the GBRCAA which has some great ways of flight training, worth every penny.

Hi Andy, thanks for the book reference, I’ll look it up! I’m going to experiment with a bunch of different setups. I think most people get the maiden flight done and never really fine tune the model, which I’m also guilty off of. Im enjoying the learning. I’ll share a video of the mixes and setup I end up with on the NG. 👍🏽

Matt, have no idea how you remember every maneuver he is calling out. I lost him at 45* upline full roll.
@MattTakharRC5 күн бұрын
Me neither! 🤣. I’ve managed to memorise it now, but still prefer a caller. When I’m by myself I take off then instantly forget the first manoeuvre for about 5 seconds 🤣😬

I was told that you fly the sequence twice in one round in IMAC?
@MattTakharRC6 күн бұрын
I’m not sure to be honest. I know I can only fly it once with this model as it drains the batts fast! Well does for me at the moment. I’m yet to read up on the rules and format. There will be e plenty more IMAC content from me 👍🏽

They used to fly it twice but they changed that to accommodate electric models shorter flight times. That is the way we do it in the Uk not sure about the rest of the world.
