2024-05-16: My wife and I will fly First Class CX880 HKG to LAX hours from now. We intentionally spent more than 11 hours in HKG so to enjoy these CX-lounges including the Cabanas in the Wing! 😄👍

@@SebbyFung Well, the CX-lounges are AMAZING but the 773-ER 1st-Class experience was just so-so. Hope will get the chance to try the new CX-Biz Class soon! 😊

@@SebbyFung Allow me to share more with you: 11-2022: We flew ANA-Biz LAX to HND & 1st Class NRT to LAX; 04-2023: We flew ANA-Room SFO to HND & JAL 1st-Class HND to LAX; 11-2023: I flew CX-Premium Economy LAX to HKG that was okay for the deal; 11-2023: We flew CX-Biz HKG-DXB-HKG; DXB-DOH-MLE-DOH-DXB via QR-Biz & 1st; 01-2024: I flew BR-Biz LAX to TPE & OZ-Biz (A380) ICN to LAX; 03-2024: She flew CI-Biz TPE to LAX; 05-2024: She flew CI-Biz LAX to TPE; 05-2024-CX880-1st Class compared to above the SERVICE was 👍 but the others were just so-so such as the utility-bags and pajamas. The toothbrush in my utility-bag somehow without the cap and simply looked cheap compared to above other flights. My wife had dinner but not impressed as we were spoiled by the CX-lounges. I took the Won-Tong 🍲 and Chinese-style breakfast and emptied them all. We will fly more CX in the future but not sure if to spend 125K for the 1st if the 84K Biz is available. I have NO prejudice to CX and DO wish them well and NOT let their fans (like the Sebby couple) down! 😄 Finally, not sure if you took the QSuite yet as 11-2024 we will fly round-trip LAX thru DOH to DXB! 😊

I was there just last month too! I was gonna visit the Pier too, but then the cabanas made me forget about the time RIP. Also, you could get in with any one world first class same day ticket, not just cathay first.

Nice! We almost didn't make it to the Pier since the wait list for the cabanas were 3+ hrs long. The Pier is worth visiting if you have a chance.

You need $15,000 EQD going through AA: www.aa.com/i18n/aadvantage-program/elite-status/aadvantage-elite-status.jsp Easiest way is looking for some premium fares that earn at a higher rate. SkyTeam example: $2,100 for LAX to BKK via KLM J that earns $9k MQD (Delta's equivalent to AA's EQD).

Try the BA executive club to earn a Gold card at 1500 tier points. With this you can access the Pier and Wing First lounges when travelling any class on any oneworld airline

Plenty of people. Having access to the exclusive lounges is one of the premier benefits of flying first class. The cabanas had a 3+ hr wait, and some people arrive to the HKG airport at 8:30am for a 5:30pm flight specifically for the lounges: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pnTKXmOhnM6corM
