Just as a note: This show adaptation of "Mei's Butler" is PURPOSEFULLY supposed to be "over-the-top" and silly. A lot of the overacting is mimicking anime expressions and nuances. Its a show that doesn't take itself seriously, though, there are some serious parts that they handle pretty decently. ❤

The weird thing about Japanese high school drama is that, they're trying hard to mimic the anime cliches which doesn't really fit in live action. I’ve either read the manga or the seen the anime or both for all of them before and as a fan I want mad. It’s over exaggerated and not for everybody but thy can be pretty good. Maybe not this one though but there are good ones.
