Martin returns to the MN cabin for his annual May trip. A lot of interesting have been posing for the trail cams in his absense.

I found it interesting that the cat (s) all marked that stump with a little spray . The wolves were marking it too . Our noses aren’t up to snuff compared to these beautiful creatures . At my age now , it would take a long time to spray all those times too ! Thanks for the great pics !

Hey Martin! It's Northwoodsman time! The bobcat looked huskier with shorter hind legs. What log powerful leg the lynx has. That poor old stumps certainly gets watered enough! HaHa Looking at you from your easy chair, it looks like your right pant leg (knee area)ran into barbed wire or a chainsaw.

I do not usually but one evening I was sitting about a mile from the cabin and spotted a bear eating near by. I snuck back to the cabin as not to interrupt his meal.

Quite the wildlife treking around up there. Never seen a wolf or bear yet at my cabin but I know they are there. I must not be spending enough time up there haha. Got my 50 eastern white pines planted all but 2 of them are thriving.

The stump was put there to make them walk in the camera's flash range and it then became the perfect scent post.

Looked up side by side Lynx and Bobcat and they are quite similar.

The first thing I learned was the black tip of the tail on the lynx but soon learned how long the lynx's ear tuffs are and oh my those big feet.

I only had lynx and coyotes on my camera from over the winter. Of course all the little critters as well.
