Thank you very much for the video. I am an Armenian and I haven't been neither in Goshavank nor in Haghartsin. It is very touching to watch it. I'd like to add that Mkhitar Gosh (1120-1213) is a great Armenian medieval thinker, writer, historian, teacher, law maker. He formed the first Armenian Law Book in 1184. He is the architect of this monastery as well. Thank you again and good luck!

I would love to move over there/ the East someday. People there still seem to have a healthy common sense whilst in Germany I have to slalom through Demonstrations. Demonstrations for Climate, pro Kurds, anti Kurds, pro migration, anti migration, save the bees, save the farmers,.... Western Europe is getting divided by political views like in the U.S. .
@BillKing34565 жыл бұрын
Cool comment and I love your use of the word 'slalom.' Great choice. Yeah, I just read in dw.com where the Berlin Christian Democrats have proposed that there be a Commissioner of Loneliness cuz Berlin is supposedly the 'Capital of Loneliness' .... Maybe loneliness and common sense are linked, I dunno .... I know War and the Environment are - War is definitely not good for the Environment!, somebody ought to have on a protest sign at the next demonstration .... All's I know is Berlin needs to just finish their new airport that's God knows is how late and how over budget (I'd expect that in the U.S. but this is Germany?) .... Also read where environmentalists are saying there should be speed limits on the Autobahn (no comment - that's a uniquely German thing) .... At least in the past some people have gotten involved in demonstrations and such in order to meet people, a way of combating loneliness .... By the way, historically the East has been no panacea, to put it lightly, when it comes to common sense and getting along with the neighbors .... Well, to sum it all up, our erstwhile traveler who slaloms around potential obstacles, Gabe, appears to be a good example of getting along with his neighbors, using common sense a good portion of the time and 'Being Alone without Being Lonely,' well maybe not 100% of the time, but he's better than most. At least I think he is.
