Great advice about being a newcomer. In any new group or strange circumstance, it's best to say as little as possible. Keep a low, neutral profile and go easy. The day I surrendered, I tried to relax and go with the flow. In jail, friendliness can send the wrong message, especially to authority figures. As I adjusted, I found allies and a sustainable routine. Another terrific video, Justin!

You're right! People can never forget they are moving into an environment where people have lived for weeks, months and years. Best to study the environment that first day rather than bring unnecessary attention.

Be prepared. Fully do your best possible due diligence. That’s the tricky part. I was personally able to navigate this experience with some professional help from Justin and his team. Don’t make mistakes on day 1 that can set the tone for an unsuccessful prison experience.
