I've never been to Porto myself, though - the Portuguese cities I've visited as of yet are Sesimbra (Summers of 1969-1971), Cascais, and Lisbon. Go for all their Seafood options, Portuguese just know how to do Seafood best....

Hey, Tia & Cheveyo. I don't think you are fully taking the advantage of your new gear. A7IV is very expensive and can do a lot more. Shoot 4K! You can reduce Mbps if the file is getting too big and hard to edit. But if you still want to keep it HD, filmed in 4K can help you to punch in certain shots without losing clarity like in 4:06.
@OnePackWanderers2 жыл бұрын
Very close guess! We got the A7SIII 🙂 We have played around with 4K, but the file sizes are still too big (even at a lower bitrate). Right now we are trying to strike a balance by filming with a high bitrate 1080p. Internet speeds are also a concern in Europe. At our place here in Porto it takes 5 hours to upload a 1.5GB~ video file. Definitely not taking full advantage of the camera, but I hope that will come with time 😅
@Taknight20062 жыл бұрын
@@OnePackWanderers Very nice choice. It is a very tough camera it will be with you for a very long time. Wow, 5 hours for a 1.5Gb video; that is quite ridiculously slow. Really, can it be that slow? I guess I'm taking internet speed in my country for granted huh. Porto is one place I really want to visit. Guess I will be tagging along with your videos. Anyway, enjoy your trip in Portugal.

I got the Charles Schwab ATM card that reimburses ATM fees for my 6-month trip around the world, and it worked great! It was a game changer, because I didn't need to withdraw as much each time, which isn't great because of the risk of theft or loss.
@OnePackWanderers2 жыл бұрын
We have the Fidelity debit cards. But yes, same principle! To make the percentages work as well as possible, we had to withdraw hundreds of dollars each time and that was nerve-wracking in some places. Are you all finished with your trip?

I think your budget in Vietnam was 100.00 per day ?, What is it in Portugal ?
@OnePackWanderers2 жыл бұрын
Our annualized average budget is $100. Our daily budget in Vietnam was actually $70/day, or $35 per person. In Europe it is $150/day, but we try to come in under that as often as we can. Right now, it's very difficult to find a hotel or hostel for less than $100/night when you factor in two people. So that's where most of our budget is going at the moment.
