Pho is only with beef or chicken, never seafood. If you want a noodle soup with some kind of seafood, look for bun rieu or bun canh ca.

New viewer. What caught my attention is that place was my fave pho in all of Vietnam. I was not at this location, but a different one. You def need some meat in it. The broth is so good at that place I could just drink it out of a cup. I can’t wait to get back to VN. Thanks for sharing your experience! You’re a delightful person to watch. 😊

Oh- and pronouncing pho is almost like a question. You sort of go up at the end with the O. That’s what the little accent mark above the O denotes. So it’s like f-uuuhh⬆️

haha so I actually pronouce pho --- with a f, didn't know that's how you pronouce it. lol it's the crossing of the streets for me! But you did it ! Love how you're learning the language lil by lil. Victor is amazing! I went back there a second time, and he and his family fed me with loads of different fruits for free. Beautiful moments you dont always capture on camera. Lol so many people mispronounce pho. I think if there was seafood, I would have ordered thirds 🤭

Hi there! If you want a rice noodle soup then you should try Hu tieu nam vang/ hu tieu my tho they have seafood flavor with pork.. banh canh do bien and bun rieu

Just walk with steady speed as long as it is on green, they would not hit you professional drivers over there but if you back and forth or stop in the middle of no where then that can be a big issue.

Can I give you some advice.. first of all.. the further north you go, the better the pho broth will be. Traditionally pho is good with beef or chicken. Always try the soup before you add the garlic vinegar and Chilli. Vietnamese people don't do seafood pho. 😅😂. If you like seafood, get some grilled squid or find a buffet with unlimited seafood grilled and boiled in a hotpot. Enjoy your stay in my motherland. ❤

I've noticed your post is 9days old. ok So Pho in Hanoi is the best, but in Saigon they have there only authentic dishes. Com Tam is broken rice with Pork chops or Hủ tiếu which is a southern thin noodles dish. Try Hủ tiếu with soup and without soup in saigon and broken rice which is called Com Tam. When you're in Hanoi try the pho. ask for Pho Đặc biệt which is the special. And try the Bún thịt nướng translated Rice noodles with barbecue. You won't regret
