I love this truck it's nice I really like the color too. I bought a 64 right before prices went up for $2500 so I got lucky. Keep up the good work, great series!

Thank you sir!! Thats a solid orice if it was a solid truck. I was able to snag this one up for under a thousand. It will be back on the channel soon. I am making it through the holidays and working on some stuff to get funds to rebuild the bed. Good luck with your truck!!

My dad had a 1965 F250 custom cab camper special with a slide in camper back in the day no exterior chrome trim in caribbean turquoise color. Grille was chrome but front bumper was cream white with white with red block ford lettering on the dogdish style hubcaps. My dream is to buy one to play with in my retirement years. Just have a nostalgic sweetspot for mid sixties Ford trucks.

Among the tips from veteran mechanics (old dudes) that were shared with me as I researched maintenance and repair of my old truck included, GL-4 for any gearbox with nonferrous components such as synchronizers, and GL-5 for the rear. It seems that the extreme pressure additives in GL-5 are corrosive to brass and the like. I understand a "Mineral Oil" was used in the day. Manual steering boxes need a semi-fluid grease such as "00 Grease" because gear lube is too thin, and "EP-0" through the thickest grease out there is too thick. Thick grease will only lubricate until the action inside the box packs the grease to the inside wall of the box whereas a fluid will continue to find its way to bearings and gears. I am enjoying this series a lot. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks a bunch for the advice! I did read about the GL-4 and GL-5. I will go back and check the labels on what was used to see what I put in the truck. Honestly, I just got what was available at the time to get something new running through the system. I have no issues changing it out though. It seems to be getting more difficult to find a store that has anything in stock anymore. Very happy to hear your enjoying the series. I am really enjoying the truck and making the videos. Hopefully they inspire some peiple to get out and save some trucks. Thanks again for the advice, comment and viewing.

Are you planning on doing the body and paint? Always loved that body style. I've been looking for a F250 or F350. Would love to build a cab and chassis flatbed with duallies just for a cool shop truck. Any decent ones here in Michigan are pretty pricey.

Good luck on the search. It seams prices are high all over for these trucks. No plan on paint and body right now. I am going to fix some of the rust spots and blend in some rattle can paint in the future. The plan is to fix the bed amd drive it around locally.
