I love the BBS' what's old is new again. If you can get your hands on an ozone machine. Think they're available on Amazon they supposedly get rid of odors amazingly well.

Your are finding a way to put some passion into these foxbodies during Covid. I know you likely have a plan to change out those rims. Sounds good. I used to run the MAC rear control arms but the bushings started to split from age and have play and had to replace them.
