It's so stupid of them not to add the alcantara on the steering wheel. That was one of the little things that seperated itself from the standard A3 & S3 🤦♂️
@TRHamza3 жыл бұрын
From an interior perspective Audi RS have progressively been getting lazier over the years. Back in 2006 we had Recaros buckets and a Lamborghini steering wheel in the B7 RS4. Now the interiors practically look the same as an S model just with an ‘RS’ badge stuck on the trim pieces. Oh well atleast they’re working on the engine and chassis!

Their is something called an rs design package that really transforms the interior of the rs3 mostly german spec which comes with alcantara steering wheel red stitching at 12 o clock position seats come with red intern stitching really looks good over the basic interior. colour stitched seat belts and coloured air vents

@DjNikGnashers3 жыл бұрын
Great choice ! Had mine a couple of years and love it. Very easy to tune (mines 455bhp/634nm), and the most fun you can have for the money. Yes you will struggle for traction, yes you will be sideways at every roundabout if you have a heavy right foot, but man it's such great fun. Much better than racing every other AWD hot hatch/suv from one set of traffic lights to the next !!
@tilidie52723 жыл бұрын
@@DjNikGnashers ive never had a sporty car or anything so the sideways part is what im abit worried about fastest thing ive driven is my a3 quattro 184bhp well 220 now. ive already made a shopping list of all mods im gonna be doing to it haha
@DjNikGnashers3 жыл бұрын
@@tilidie5272 It's like anything my friend, it's all just practice and getting used to a new car. The A3 is a good car, but anything AWD will feel planted, safe, and ... well just a bit dull and boring, compared to a RWD car. The M140i has a very good traction control system, and if you drive it at 7/10ths it will feel just as grippy and safe as anything else. It's when you turn the traction control fully off, and push it to 9/10th that you start to understand why a RWD car is such good fun, because you control it not only with the steering wheel, but also the throttle pedal too. Unless you can afford a Porsche, or even a real M car (M2C would be my choice if I had the money), then the M140i is really the best option for a modern, sensible, practical, yet fast and (when you push it hard) wild beast. Yes there are older RWD cars which you can tune which will give you the same feeling, but you will be forever fixing them, and they won't feel as modern. I won't be getting rid of mine anytime soon, it's the perfect car imo.
@ARDEN440i3 жыл бұрын
M140i doesn't come with an LSD from factory so stepping out on the twisties won't be much of an issue, just putting the power down you'll struggle with the one wheel burnouts. But as Nik said, great choice. No hot hatch comes close imo.
@DjNikGnashers3 жыл бұрын
@@ARDEN440i Yes good comment. Fitting a Limited Slip Diff is probably the best mod you can do to the M140i, Quaife, Wavetrac, BMW M diff, or others. It will still slide around when pushed, but it will be much more predictable, and you can also do massive drifts ! Who wouldn't want to do that :-))
