The oil will burn faster when you are using higher rpm. If you keep the rpm’s lower you can go further on an oil change. And vice versa.

Also highway driving will extend the maintenance minder vs short city driving.

Bizarre logic. Dude super careful about breaking in the engine yet says he’s not going to change the oil until Honda software tells him to at 6k maybe. Changing the oil as frequently as feasibly possible is even more important than babying the engine. KZbinrs are so odd. lol use Clearplex on the windshield. Keep that factory seal. Nice ride!

Totally unfounded and untrue. What you think personally isn't fact.

@@davothegreat9990I agree 💯.

I know you guys may disagree but I've done my research. If Honda wanted the break-in oil changed at 1,000 miles, it would have indicated in that in the owners manual. The factory fill oil includes additional additives that's crucial for the break-in process.

KZbin commenters are worse thou, they think they know more than Honda Motor Co

@@davothegreat9990there’s an oil analysis guy here on KZbin that also recommends 600 miles. He does an oil and oil filter analysis after too. He’s an oil engineer or something like that. Not just some random KZbinr.
