parts aren't as easy to come by tbh. I own an E5 and most nice parts have to be ordered from Europe or Japan. A few parts are interchangeable with the newer Evo 7/8/9. Mainly engine components and a few driveline parts you can swap.

I drove my FRS on the track with an HKS supercharger. Novice class at Portland Intl Raceway, dominated everyone in the corners. Stock GRs, Porsche, Vette, camaros, bmws, it was fun. Full on straights, kept up much better than anyone, myself included, expected.

Useable power is so important especially on a street car. My Whipple 5.0 is straight to jail every time I lean on it 😂 by the end of a 3rd gear pull I’m at like 130mph

some states may give issues about registering because its missing a "important" piece that makes a car safe, agree but its good he adds it just to make the paperwork easier, if anything they aren't hard to take off.

I advise you guys to replace the clutch also , because for that amount of power you’re making the clutch won’t keep up and possibly take the motor with it . From what I’ve seen and been told .

Love ya Tj, but a crash bar is not just for fender benders. They’re designed and collision tested in conjunction with the airbags firing so the pax rate of decel is as long as possible. I’m from aus and people put bullbars on 4x4’s that wreck collision sensor timings but just for ya info they aren’t only for low speed tings

The only downside I can think of for not having a bash bar is insurance. I have heard some horror stories of insurance companies not covering a vehicle at ALL because it was running an aftermarket bar or no bar at all.

Oem crash bars are meant to crumble and be there for pedestrians. Aftermarket bash bars are too ridged and cause the frame and stuff to bend in an accident.
