This is such a fantastic song. Dany is in the moment. The Queen of the Murder Scene album was such genius from them, especially considering how young they were when they wrote this.

Still to this day my favorite Dany performance of my favorite Dany song at my favorite Dany concert. Yes, Dany concert, she IS the Queen of the Murder Scene in this show. Perfection. Also…. my favorite use of bemuse in a sentence. 😊

There is another live version of this. Foro didi I think. Where Dany’s guitar doesn’t work. So she ends up singing with just the bass and percussion parts. It’s really good and just shows what a pro she is. There is also a version with just Pau and Dany during a live with Pau strumming the guitar and singing lead and Dany fingering the chords. I believe they switch parts during the beautiful harmonies. It’s a lot of fun and we get to hear Pau yell Toca! At Dany when she took her hand off the fret board. 😂

Yep. Foro Didi. The battery in her acoustic guitar's pickup system died. You can hear it very, very faintly at certain points in the song as the guitar bleeds into nearby microphones. Overall, though, it comes across as having no guitar ... and it's chilling in all the best ways.

This song definitely sets the tone for the story of this concept album. You got the meaning right on. This song introduces the queen and her obsession. She loves someone who doesn't even know she exists. Her feelings are intense, confusing and conflicting. They are overpowering her. She would do anything for the target of her obsession to love her back.

The first song of Chapter 1 of Queen of the Murder Scene, "Crimson Queen" shows the Queen's unrequited love for & fascination with the unnamed target of her affection. This slides into obsession as Chapter 1 progresses.

I love how they have stripped this one down and let Dany’s vocals be the lead instrument. Ale is sitting down, on the drum riser, playing low and mellow, and Pau with a shaker.

"Crimson Queen" is the setup song for the journey to come. That journey follows a young woman from unrequited love to infatuation, stalking, murder, and madness, ending in suicide. Dany plays the dark side (The Queen) and Pau as the good side (The Queen's sane personality). Dany stays in character throughout the entire performance. "Queen Of The Murder Scene" is a masterpiece written and performed by pre-teen and teenagers. The only way to truly experience how great this album is, is to listen to it from start to finish. If you should decide to react to the entire performance TWA will show up to watch it with you. I have seen it many times, but if you give us some advance notice we will be there, you could even do a live stream. Make it like a watch party on a Saturday night or something.

I know you've heard some of this album already, but it would be worth your while to go through a chapter or two and then watch the vlogs where they talk about writing it. You're absolutely right about how this kind of song is necessary to a 'rock novella'. Just as you describe Dany's voice as somehow being mysteriously to the point, their writing also has this aspect where it somehow is very different song to song but so cohesive together, particularly in this album!

Great performance. Shows the obsession of the Queen building. As the concert goes on, you see Dany get more and more into her character as the evil side of the Queen. Yes, Ale is sitting on the drum platform.

Great reaction of an epic performance. It always floors me to see these girls can write lyrics and sing in their second language and use words like bemuse correctly. English is my first language and would never use that word when writing, well done DPA!

You have definitely got to react to this entire concert. From Ale's extended intro to Dust to Dust to Survive as the last song. They were 18, 16 and 13 during this performance and they were all ready rock stars. Most of the world just didn't realise it yet. I've seen Pau perform Dust to Dust a half dozen times and this is still my favorite.

A reactor new to the warning made the comment that Dany's "voice is ten years older than her". I have been impressed with her vocal range. She can sing "99 bottles of beer on the wall" and it would still be a hit. 🤪

Have you reacted to P.S.Y.C.H.O.T.I.C? yet? If not, do so soon! I'm heading home to California from Tokyo where I saw the Warning with Band Maid! What a show! I was emotionally wrecked when it was over. That closer with all eight of these magnificent ladies on stage at the same time was incredible. The love and respect they showed for each other was palpable. If you've not seen these ladies live, do so soon. You will not be sorry.

Hey Zack, The Warning are not a one trick pony. They truely are ARTISTS. Performance and lyrics that take us on a joy ride of emotion. Fun fact, listening to DPA every day since July 2022 has given my Classic rock and Deep tracks rock stations new life. 70's-80's rock sounds better now! Imagine that! Viva la Raza 🤘⚡️🫶🇲🇽

Pau got a small heart behind her ear on her 20th birthday. And I assume the one on her neck was maybe for 21st birthday. Good view of that one in Automatic Sun video. She has her hair up. Dany prefers the temporary ones.

Dany has occasionally got a temp tattoo to freak fans out. If you look close besides black on neck and hands she has some red on her pants representing blood. Great song written by Dany.

Dany intends to use her tone and facial expressions to recreate the emotion of the song. - Her words... Spoiler alert - she kills the guy. The rest of the songs are harder and heavier. Ale is a beast in this concert.

One of my favorite songs on this album. It sets the tone and the baseline for the story. Ale was sitting on the edge of the drum stage. Rhey sang this album later at Fpro Didi and the guitar hookup failed. I think a dead battery. So Dany sang the whole song a capella. It gave the song even more depth. She is a pro.Never missed a beat.
