Fun reaction - subbed! I've seen them twice in concert and they are epic. :) Growling techniques don't use the vocal cords, or at least not the way singing and speaking do, depending on the technique. So our ideas about male and female voice kinda go out the window. It takes years of practice to get that good though, and her skills have been growing for over a decade performing with that technique. That said, this is only technically a "live session" and there is a lot of editing. I'd suggest Perennial live at Wacken for a concert performance. Cheers!

I enjoyed that, but Tatiana's vocals are so astonishing that you forgot to listen to the other three people, all masters of their respective instruments. It's hard not to be shocked. If you listen to the track a few times, you will be able to appreciate the restrained and tasteful drumming, the powerhouse bass and the inventive, nimble guitar. Great band. If you need proof of Tatiana's vocal skills, pick a concert recording - "Who is gonna be the one", "Perennial", "Judgement & Punishment" all have professionally recorded live concert versions.

Stevie Wonder just celebrated his 70th birthday! Please react tokzbin.info/www/bejne/b2rKf4yXr5uMl68. I grew up in the Herman Garden projects on Detroit's west side. During the summer months the fire department would come and open the hydrants for all us kids. The bbq grills would be smoking and we'd go eat a little from all of them. Some of the grown folks would be playing cards, some were shooting dice and some dancing. It was like a block party - and this is the song that takes me back to those years - we were poor but we didn't know it!
