You can with any car, the cabin becomes the front enclosure of a 6th order series enclosure, thats why some competitions they have the window down or the door open to increase their score. Shorter/wider ports with bigger enclosures are more efficient, so using the window as a port can be beneficial.

It definitely is not the first. in the 90's with Truckin' styles riding billet Boyd's and the beds were big ass speaker boxes or caps on beds with subs all facing outwards and the cab back opened up with full flow to the back window. Installing this in a custom trailer would've been a better idea then butchering up your mom's daily commuter.
