For immediate fix, use glue and couple or two of toothpicks to plug the holes then re-screw it. You can also use some dry twigs shaped to fit and plugged the chewed holes. then re-fit your screws. works like magic.....

John, been watching your videos for a long time! We enjoy your channel and adventure etc etc… I have went through three RV and lived in them over the past three years. I have bought a house since retiring, our current rig in an a Arctic Fox 1140 on a 3500, but love it!!! Whatever… Now with all due respect and I’m not saying or asking anything to be negative…as I said I have watched you from early days…except when you dumped the truck camper…lol Anyway, I don’t understand why you don’t get your batteries, heater, ac, water etc in working order… I get your rig doesn’t have a bathroom can’t do anything about that but being completely self sufficient is key and the best experience overall… Good luck and take care beat the status quo…., …,…. 👍🏻🙏🏻

You know Jonathan, Routine is sooo important and personal care even when it is minimal, does alot for your head space and, of, course, your overall physical health. I am happy you endorse and encourage good personal care on the road. Where did summer go??? It flashed right on by. You did some awesome adventures last summer. I enjoyed your content sooo much but here it is winter again and I hope you have your snow board ready for the slopes. It's just such a great sport and it keeps your everything in great shape. The food your prepared looked yummy and healthy too. Simplicity and quality. I loved that 🐕 ( dog ) what a nice surprise and it would be nice to have a buddy to travel with. I know you love animals. Thanks sooo much for taking us along. Stay safe and be and stay well. BTW, what you say about going out and breaking the status Quo and doing adventures of your own, applies to the young, not so young and all in-between. I like that encouraging words! Thanks Jonathan Yench!☺️🌴👣👣👣👣🏖️

Crazy glue and baking soda. Many KZbin videos on this subject too. This would be a great fix for your camper ceiling window. Don't bother with bigger screws. Simply fill in the existing hole(s) with the glue and add baking soda. Maybe a little tricky being a ceiling but I'm sure it can be done. Pilot hole before screwing in your old existing original screws. It'll work. Guarantee it. Reasonably easy fix. You'll be happy. 🤗

I think you should use a lid when cooking your vegetables. If you put a tiny bit of water into the pan and cover up with a lid, the vegetables cook quicker and more even with the steam. Especially the potatoes, it would cook better.

I've watched your channel for a little while and I really enjoy when you've had the slumber Queen and now this one the best then the other cabs you even seem happier that you're not cooking outside all the time and the elements are dealing with mosquitoes you just seem happier in a truck actual camper where you can stand up fully very happy for you

Jonathan, have you considered getting a clamshell tent for the back of your truck camper? I see many great ideas on the channel called "I ride tiny House" which shows how people create RV'S out of cargo trailers. You might be able to adapt some of the ideas for use with your truck camper outings.

Alex lives well also purchased a Bigfoot truck camper . She also has no power and plans to renovate . It's going to be interesting watching how you both put your personal spin on your new to you campers . Probably a good idea to let each other know if you find replacement parts for these hard to find campers . Two sets of eyes looking for parts are better than one !!!! I absolutely love your videos, especially your cooking. It must also be so much nicer to have the ability to cook indoors again instead of setting up all that you had to before to do the cooking outside, especially during extreme heat or cold. 🅝🅞 matter your gas mileage, there is no better place to be than a nice little cozy environment such as your camper shell, which provides all the comforts that you need, including the security that's essential when out and about. Best purchase ever!! Love you got another full time shell. On the last one you put up a really nice backsplash around the kitchen, with utensils, spices...hope you do the same for this one. Other than that, it seems pretty cozy, needing minimal renovations, except the electrical. Once that's done, I think you'll be a lot happier. Also kudos to all your photography, especially during a run. Know you have to set up the camera for a lot of those shots and you do an exceptional job. I'm glad you like both dogs and cats because I love your Kitty, but I can understand the need to have a road companion. That dog was gorgeous, and I'm so thankful it wasn't abandoned.

First off, we love your videos. We live in a motorhome full time and boondock in an off-road teardrop trailer. You've given us several ideas. I'd like to share one of ours with you; Any time we do a repair or replacement of a semi-permanent item that needs screws, we reach for soft material rivets. The soft material part is very important. They're hassle free, easy to use, fairly forgiving, and don't require you to make bigger holes. It's like a toggle bolt only easier.

Another great video Jonathan! Keep up the good work, looking forward to Yellowstone. I love getting out there and camping in our little travel trailer, but usually during warm and sunny weather so I appreciate seeing you brave the elements and showing us beautiful campsites we’ve not been to. I’m glad to see your carbon monoxide detector, but it seemed to be mounted up higher than usual. It’s been my understanding that CO is slightly heavier than air and tends to settle so a detector mounted down low will provide the earliest warning. That said, a smoke detector is an entirely different device and follows different rules. Do your own research and see what you think. Stay safe!😊
