Maybe it's just a case of making the text match the Japanese version more closely? I am very surprised to see this change, and it makes me sad after just capitulating and finally grabbing the persona 3 remake and seeing how it was also changed. Hopefully we can at least get a Book of Mario out of the remake eventually to liven it up.

My assumptions for this are: 1. Engine issues, it's the same engine as origami king's which had difficulties to keep the game at constant 60 fps, so they capped the game to 30 to prevent perfomance issues; 2. In-built DRM to prevent piracy (it won't, only temporarily) but that ends up costing perfomance
