First Fishing Trip with my Kids after Cancer

In this episode, I film my first fishing show with my kids since I was diagnosed with cancer and underwent 15 surgeries. We took our Tideline boat offshore and started the day drift fishing with live bait. Jake hooked a monster fish! We thought it was a giant Wahoo, but after an intense fight, we discovered it was a Scalloped Hammerhead. We released the Hammerhead and headed further offshore to search for Dolphin Fish (Mahi-Mahi or Dorado) on the weedlines. In 900ft of water, I found a huge patch of sargassum. Jake spotted a floating log, and we started fishing around it. The kids caught Almaco Jacks, and we landed one keeper Dolphin Fish. I kept driving and spotted a monster Tripletail swimming alongside a log. I tossed my Berkley swim shad, and the fish inhaled it! After an intense fight, we landed this giant Tripletail. What a fantastic fish! We finished the day catching a bunch of Mahi with the kids before heading back, trying to avoid the storms.
