@@jaybar5248 the cock is a brown one the canary hen is not a brown and not a pastel hen ... and the youngster got nothing pastel on it you see it on the wings when its pastel you see a soft grey colouring over the wing but also over the boddy and i now pastel is dominant you have two types in it singelfactor and doubbelfactor but the youngster is a normal brown hen

I a nest you can breed following birds then ... cocks : classic , classic dom pastel sf , brown , brown dom pastel sf , Hens brown , brown dom pastel sf ... the mom is a red eye bird yellow satinet so i can see ... will you breed nice mule in pastel dom then the best way is a siskin cock Brown split isabel on a brown jaspis df canary hen

My daughter and i have started up avairy birds, the only ones we want to keep are canaries and goldfinches we have got 2 pairs of canaries we are looking to buy 1 pair of goldfinches or 1 cock bird or a pair of mules can you help us please, you are very experienced and very professional and do an amazing job of what you do with the birds. It's a mule mate so should have the size ring appropriate to the biggest parent.

It’s a Siskin mule Sean, so I’ve put a size E ring on it so it’s suitable for it’s adult size and so I can identify which hen has bred which young.
