Agadmator is the both the fastest and slowest chess youtuber. One day he covers Carlsen vs Caruana less than an hour after its conclusion, on the next day he covers a game which finished 162 years ago.

You don't have to move the King 11:45, you can interpose the N it is protected 2x and even if R checks on the 8th rank, now the B can interpose. You also can't capture the B at 13:14 you must play Rf2. Capture allows check fork with the N.

Even if it is not very important, I would like to mention that in 13:06 you cannot capture the bishop because knight to d2 will fork king and rook. So definitely rook to f2 is the way to go. I think also that going directly for rook to h1 before moving the bishop may work :)

Does 3 fold repition extend to 3-cycle repetition. Say there's a sequence of 6 moves that go back to starting position, if you do this sequence of 6 moves 3 times (for 18 moves) does it become a draw?
@12gark
@12gark Жыл бұрын
Yes. Any number of moves that brings the board back to the same exact point repeated 3 times a draw. It's just rare that someone uses more than 1-2-3 moves repeating, because if both player know it's a draw, they usually find the quickest repetition to end the game.
