First Gen Toyota Tundra 4.7L V8 Timing Belt Install

This old 2006 Toyota I just got needs a Timing belt. Here is a install video and I go over some very important info if your going to DIY. I also install a new water pump and some other odds and ends. This was a full kit I got off eBay that came with most everything I needed. This video is good for any Tundra from 2000-2006 with the 4.7L V8

Nice trees, what state are you in? Also, when you pulled out the tensioner pin (the little grenade like pin) was it easy to pull out, did you hear any click or hear the rod shoot out? I just installed mine and pulled the pin and it was really easy like no tension on it, no noise, no click, nothing..

I live in California, and it was easy for me too no clicks or nothing but worked great. No issues to date

@@killeroffroadhobbyz Awesome dude, thanks for the quick reply. I have an 02 access cab I bought a few months ago. I’m down in San Diego but we’re moving this summer. We may buy a house up near Redding. I need trees back in my life. Been down here 20 years and have been priced off the board. Rented this house for 20 years at $2,000 and now they want $4000 or more so we’re leaving.

Yeah the Rc stuff was fun but way too much money it was just getting out of hand and to only get 2 or 3k views just wasn't worth it. I've been working 60 hours a week on night shift so my time is very limited. I'm always pushed on time so filming and editing gets over looked most the time because I just need to get the stuff done.
