Surely all schemes like this “to help people buy a house” don’t help the general market in the long run… just increasing competition in the market driving prices higher. Why do they do them? How about some schemes that actually increase supply or promote multi family so people can buy an affordable place to live without needing to be 95% debt 😅

Hey guys, Thanks for the wonderful videon- I have a quick question. Are there different interest rates for loan applications put thru FHLDS ? Say when I pay 5% deposit , the interest rate that I get is different from 20% deposit - how does it work ? In this video you applied same interest rate for different % of initial deposits-hencewhy the question raised in mind !

Great question, that's right. The banks give rates as if it's an 80% lend given it's backed by the government

Would it still be beneficial to use a mortgage broker if you have to apply through a participating lender directly??

Great stuff Guys 👏!!! Just a quick question , in FHGS (FHLDS), Can the buyer deposit only 5% ? Can’t the buyer deposit more than 5% ( say 10% 15%) ?? Are there any restrictions not to pay over 5%? Would you be able to clarify this !

9:25 You’re not allowed interest only loans? You’re allowed interest only periods on loans for up to 5 years. Am I getting confused on semantics here? 😂
