I don't think that it looks bad...but you know what you like your hair to look like. I had overused that product when I tried it and had crispy crunchy hair. I did see others use it with the Mousse Def underneath...I said I was gonna give that a try.

Hey Hun, so I use the mousse on my sons hair and its perfect. He plays a lot outside so hair washing is way more frequent with him. which is why I opt for mousse products. I have not dared to try the product on my or by it's self i'm scared....🤣 I think the product is great for TWA and twist from just using it on my son. I might plunge into to it 🤔 TFS🖤🥰

I wanted to love the glaze, but on the 3rd day it flaked like CRAZY. It also made my hair super hard and staw like.

Aw Thank U 😊 I appreciate that. I truly can say the Doux line definitely has something for everyone and use the products as the direction say. These are definitely one product styling products. But that Big Poppa gel is everything .

When I use this gel the first time I didn’t like it but the second time I used it with the wetline I know you probably saying to Gel on top of each other but the gel was to South so I just use a little bit of the wetline any came out good with no flakes your hair looks beautiful

My apologies for the late reply, I've been saying I was going to give it a second try. Now, that most of my hair fell out from postpartum and it's not as thick I should give it a go again and with a different part. Because I think that's another reason why I wasn't feeling the look. The wrong part placement can ruin a look. TFS🖤🥰

I totally agree with you. I was so disappointed with the ‘Pop Lock’. I thought I would try it, with excitement, and did not like the finished result at all. Girl, forget about putting it into a pineapple. Did that… you will be disappointed again. I guess I’ll give the other products in this line a try. I hate for my hair to feel like it’s hard and dry, although it did not leave cast. It is not for my hair and my hair curl pattern in tighter than yours. My edge and front even had the same results you had. All this after applying the product on clean, conditioned, wet hair.

Hey! Your hair is so shiny & pretty. This product left my hair really dry when I used it…was my first time trying a wash & go with foam. I want to try the gel but I’m scared because gels usually dry out my hair too. The only product that works for me so far is the kinky curly custard.

Hey, Thank you. The mystery of finding out what works for are hair is exciting and frustrating. But when you have that staple product that you know will always have you hair looking right we fall in love with our hair all over again. I said I was going to revisit Kinky Curly have not used it since 2012 and now I am curious about it.

@@ItsMahriagui So I tried the big poppa gel & I actually really liked it. My hair didn’t feel dry the next day at all & the sticky feeling ppl spoke about really wasn’t bad. Glycerin is high in the ingredient list so keep in mind your results may depend on your climate/time of yr etc.

it's not bad. your hair still looks good but you have to be happy with it and do what works for you

Thank you for the encouragement😉. I rocked my hair that week in a bun and did not think twice about it. But I did pass the product on to some one else so no waist was made.

Yes it did leave a cast and my hair was so dry the next day. So, I passed the product on to a friend that has a TWA and she loves it 🥰 Thank you for watching.

I did not have a cast, although it left my hair bone dry. I had to wash it out the next dry and recondition.
