Thinking it not being variable speed is a big drawback
@NerdlyCNC9 ай бұрын
yeah. i wish i wouldve mentioned. this. the higher end versions all have adjustable speed.
@PeterGrace20135 ай бұрын
@@NerdlyCNC I bet a router speed control box would help with that.

The drill your using and the drill you posted the ad on is two different drills. The post one is variable speed and I think different hp. Just pointing that out because the ad one is much better for like slowing down the cuts.

maybe they changed the link. thanks

@@NerdlyCNC no worries, I only noticed because I'm looking to buy the one on your add. Thanks for your review!

@@NerdlyCNC I love these start-ups that concentrate on online marketing. It’s effective because it’s targeted. But since everything is so new, they don’t know their mistakes yet. If they had asked you not to show the price in your video, would that have changed your perspective? I love it that popular YTers (and Nerdly*) get free products to review. That’s a win for everyone as long as everyone is honest. You were open about the circumstances and that’s the best way to do it. *😅❤️

@@CandyGramForMongo_ these reviews are made specifically for the viewer, not the manufacturer. It’s actually quite common for companies to ask if they can send products for positive reviews. The answer is always. NO. I refuse to sell out all the people that have chosen to support me by watching my videos for some gadget. I also think it’s super important to understand that there’s a big difference between sharing and experience and actively encouraging someone to go buy something. It’s pretty rare that I tell people to go buy something. But when I do, it’s because I actually believe that product is actually worth the investment.

@@NerdlyCNC Oh, I trust you. And I genuinely appreciate the tip. John at Farmcraft did the same, disclaimer and all. Same product, even. I’m looking over their products right now, which I believe was their intent! 😅

i always wanted one of these, but I never need one bad enough to justify spending as much as the non-clones cost.

The motor brushes are made out of toothpaste! They burnt up after 8 1/2" holes in only 1/4" steel. Such an oddball size I can not even source them locally or the 'usual suspects'.
@NerdlyCNC9 ай бұрын
did they offer a refund? How i can check this one?
@leofortey75619 ай бұрын
@@NerdlyCNC It sat in my garage for 8 months before I used it the first time. No refund. Not even a listing for brushes to replace.

I think you can make your own graphite/carbon motor brushes. I know I read about it a few years ago and it didn't seem that hard...just google it.
