My first thoughts on what looks good and what I'm going to watch for going forward. (Note: When I say let go of the scooter, I mean with one hand.)

Hello! This is the first review of the new Apollo Air V3 (2023) electric scooter. Thank you for the information from one of the first buyers!

I read its good to spray paint a rubber finish coat under all scooter for wear and tear and better waterproofing~. And apollo has good spare parts for a good price, like the fender bender where you put ur leg is only 20$ to replace

Thanks for the helpful tips, I'm still pretty new to this. I'll definitely check out the spray coating options.

Can you post a link to what one would spray onto the undercarriage?

i JUST GOT MY APOLLO CITY PRO AND IM LOVING IT

Hi, would you say this is a model you would recommend for someone taking an intracity bus or train? Or is it too big/heavy?
@nurseabe Жыл бұрын
Great question. Up a couple of steps on a bus shouldn't be much of a problem. Just note that the wide bars could be a frustration if you are usually on a packed bus or train. That might be more of an issue because the weight shouldn't matter for short carries.

The video could have been way better if you showed the instrument panel( screen,throttle overview) and new lights as well…it was just filmed from one angle where the scooter is only partially visible from side…

Hi, before you buy your Apollo Air. What other brands/model you look with the same price category? Currently I’m looking one to save on commute since uber is so expensive $50/day. Thank you so much!

I was looking mostly at Segway alternatives, the other option was Niu. I just found with Apollo I got better stats for the same price.

The Segway Ninebot F2 Pro is the direct competitor to this one. Essentially similar motor power, suspension and weight.

Do you ride it on road only? I want to buy one but i dont want to do illegal things like riding on sidewalk but at the same time, i dont wanna get hit by a car :c
@nurseabe Жыл бұрын
So in our jurisdiction they aren't technically legal anywhere. There's a pilot project essentially allowing them but the provincial/state code does not include provisions making them legal either on the road or on sidewalks. I ride primarily road or multi use paths, if I have to go on the sidewalk due to traffic concerns I ride very safely, slowing if there are any pedestrians. It's not perfect, but I wouldn't envision being constrained just to roads or just to sidewalks.

I want this one 😮 when was this scooter released?

I got my through pre-order in Canada so I suspect it's coming out everywhere right about now.

Does it have cruise control?
@nurseabe9 ай бұрын
Yes, although I find that frequent little hills can confuse it and I often have to reset the cruise.

This or the Segway Ninebot Max G2?
@nurseabe11 ай бұрын
As they are so close otherwise, I would take the Apollo over the Segway for lower weight.

@@nurseabe how is Apollo's customer support/ service at the service center? I'm seeing many horror stories in the electric scooter reddit community. Thanks for your responses!
@chaxologist20249 ай бұрын
Apollo all the way...or the Segway Ninebot F2 Pro. Very similar motor, range and power. Segway G2 has gone down to 3.2 out of 5 stars with plenty of buyers complaining that the hydraulic suspension leaks oil. So don't be one of them stupid buyers getting the G2 Max without observing long-term reviews and trials first. Indiegogo products that are pre-ordered are typically rushed into production and thus, plenty come out defective and/or have manufacturing defects.

How does it do with hills
@nurseabe11 ай бұрын
The steepest hill on my commute it drops from 32kph to 17kph. If your ride is very hilly it will require a bit of patience.
