The Decathlon Simond puffy, is not perfect, but for the price, some times on sales for like 150usd, is pretty damn good, make sure to get the right size, the idea is to fit it over all your gear (over mid layer and hardshell).

The downdescription is distinguished where you live, because 800 US Cuin=700 EU Cuin. The grey one have 800 EU Cuin, the red one 700. Furthermore I got also both Simond Jackets. The temperature in the grey one (I got it in blue) depence a little bit of your condition and the moisture. Some days its easy with -5 degree other days it became chilly at 0 degrees celsius. But I love the jacket. That´s why I wont the red one.@@Joshr13047

I have the large or XL haha i forget. However the stuff sac is about 5 inches by 9 inches but when its inside the sac it still compresses quite a bit

I belive size large is 170 grams. It says everything on the decathlon website. for certain countries they don't include all the details I dont know why so if you cant find everything just search decathlon UK or CAnada or try other countries basically. I don't know exactly what the deniere of the face fabric is. It definitely is not super thick. If you are going to be bushwacking, get someting like the OR ferrosi hoodie to go over it and youll be fine

Yo me la iría a probar. Lo ideal es que no te vaya muy holgada o el viento te va a entrar por todos lados. Pero una un poco más grande te puede permitir llevar un jersey debajo, pero con una buena térmica merino (devold o similar) debería ser suficiente). Tiene cierre en la cintura, pero mejor que no te baile dentro y el calor se mueva

Simond was a separate brand from Decathlon, and when they bought it, it surprisingly kept the quality. Most of the Simond gear is really really good and half the price or less.

@@bassegoder También vengo de un clima bastante cálido a lo largo del año (Canarias) y estoy perdido con la ropa de invierno y sobretodo con que pantalones llevar porque tenía pensado un par de softshells y un sobrepantalon impermeable para los dias de lluvia fuerte o si voy a salir a aprender a hacer ski y caminar

@adrianocaceresromero1557 no es mala chaqueta. Para lo que lo vas a usar, te valen las dos. En mi opinión la de Simond es mucho mejor, más tecnica, pensada para alpinismo, por lo que debe de ser muy cómoda, sin hablar de los bolsillos pectorales (te aseguro que a -15 con viento y con mochila lo agradecerás)... Pero para uso en ciudad y salir a la montaña no muy lejos del coche ambas sirven. Ya dirás. Saludos!
