Cambodia seems like a happiness and relaxation place than here in America.

I’m sure America has some very nice places too but over all Cambodia has been like magic to us 😍

Not really, brother. Cambodia is just as like every other country. As a native people here, I also struggle with injustice, thief etc but if you stay headstrong and always use your wits, you can enjoy life in Cambodia without worrying much about the scam and injustice.

Yeah, the US is becoming less affordable, crimes including violent robberies, and joblessness due to companies having to close because of high taxes and theft. It begins in California and then the rest of the country follows

Have you visited the Big 3 of Indochina yet (Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam)? I've gone to school in Thailand, but plan to teach for a 1 year stint in Cambodia and Vietnam. After that I will probably check out the Cebu area in the Philippines, since Manila was not my vibe.
@bornufree Жыл бұрын
@@MyLifeThai371 Excellent plan! Thailand is close second. I taught in Thailand for a brief stint over 15 years ago informally Yes I have been to all of them including Laos. Northern Vietnam the ‘reception’ is cooler especially amongst the older generation back then Every country has its unique charm but I found in Vietnam a more mercantile mindset which could be a positive or negative depending on your personality Perhaps have a longish holiday in Vietnam before you commit to a long teaching stint though the younger generations in SEAsia have a more friendly attitude to Westerners Get in quick because Asia is heaving under the effects of overdevelopment. So once charming cities are losing that old Indochinese character. Phnom Penh still has vestiges of that old charm but it’s quickly changing! Good luck

Love Kampot but you have go to Mondulkiri, it’s a hidden gem in the Cambodian mountains near the Vietnam border that foreigners never visit…….trust me you won’t regret it…….happy travels wherever you decide to go.

Kampot reminded me of my childhood as I took a slow train trip from PP with my family way back in the 60s then to Kep Town overlooking the ocean as my family had a summer cabin there. Kampot was a sleepy town not very long ago as I had returned to locate my surviving family members. Only memory lives on. Happy travels 🎉

Very nice place to stay champs. Looking forward to the next video and what you guys get up to in Kampot . Pity about it being the rainy season but you should hopefully get loads of sunshine with the odd shower or storm here and there. Stay CHAMP 🤩

Took the train to Kampot just this week and stayed in exactly the same room as you guys at Bamboo, I found that bed hard 😅 This is my first time back to Cambodia in 20 years and what's blown me away is how expensive things have become, a real eye opener for me. Thanks for the vid!

I like the way you’re positioning yourself as a Southeast Asia traveler based in Thailand, because I’m Thai 😃! Great concept and branding too! I think it will take off. $1.50 beer and $3-$4 foods are super cheap still. Here in Los Angeles a typical lunch is at least 17 bucks 😅😥. Kampot looks like a good place to visit next time I’m in Thailand 👍🏽🙏🏼.
