The airport in Addis Ababa is called Bole international airport and it’s one of the biggest airports in Africa.

Kenya is quite interesting. Kenya is like that tiny, shy girl at the corner in a class. When others are noisy, loud, and proclaim themselves, the most beautiful and show their wealth, she is neglected, but if you approach her and talk with her you discover her dazzling beauty, charming seduction and warm heart. You discover kind, welcoming, inquisitive, and knowledgeable people. National Park and true forest within the city. Good weather all year round, different internationalities and their cuisines that you even wonder whether you are in kenya. They speak kiswahili, but don't worry, they speak English too and fluent. Good infrastructures, but it could be better, a variety of means of transport. You can go to the coast, west to the lakes and the mountains. By the way, kenya has a true desert to the north. It has malls, an open market, something for children and adults for entertainment, nightlife, and green spaces. In other words, welcome to kenya. Thank you for being good ambassadors. Any disappointment means we are not always perfect, and we are that tiny shy girl at the corner in Africa.

The weather here apart from the coast is temperate all year round with the exception of May to July (our winter) cause you're in a high altitude city (higher than Denver) and the Equator runs through Nairobi. We have a lot of foreigners here due to several factors namely the UNEP is headquartered here in Gigiri suburb, many western organizations have headquartered their Africa operations here, a major transit hub for East and Central Africa.

Nairobi and Addis Ababa has similar weather. Though Addis is changing in terms of new beautification in the city, Nairobi is still way ahead in terms of city development especially in the housing sector, Nairobi has better houses and less costly compared to Addis.
@JadeMercyJourney3 күн бұрын
Yes, the weather is similar, and Addis is absolutely changing in terms of the beautification in the city.

There's quite a number of Ethiopian restaurants. Secondly, if our sista could network within the Ethiopian/Eritrean community am positive they will tell her where to get home cooked injera. A good place to start is the Ethiopian Orthodox church. Congregants there from home will help out, or just search on Facebook anything to do with Ethiopian events or food in Kenya.
@chaniawillow4 күн бұрын
Yes we love injera over here. We have Abyssinia, Habesha etc.
