This multan fort or Qasim bagh qilla was a place where Army of Alexander the great had an encounter with locals of that time and fierce battle was fought and Alexander himself was hit with an arrow which injured him badly. And rumor spread through greek army that alexander has died which alexander refuted by waving hand to his fighters that he is still alive, this is historic place.

Its so happy to have you here in Multan.This is a city which existed somewhat 5000 years ago as well.Its one of the 3 oldest civilization to exist today,i.e, Cairo,Damascus and Multan.Many Persian dynasties,Turkic rulers ruled over this city for many years.It existed when Great Alexander came from Greece but sadly most of its history was ruined by Ghengez Khan's Army when he ruled this Area in early 13th Century thats why people don't find much historical sites here as Lahore or Peshawar do.I would personally recommend you to visit Taxila which is just 2 hrs drive away from Islamabad & its too an ancient city of Pakistan places like Sirkap,Sirsak,Piplaan,Julian,Jandial Temple,Dharmarajika Stupa are wort visiting there if you interested in history.Again it was soo sweet to have such a beautiful people from Romania in my city.Much love and appreciation for your work

let me correct you , it was'nt known as Gard, gada, garma and Goristan, its known for or famous for these things. Gard (dirt) as its mostly dirt blows or winds here, Gada means beggers, there are many you find in tombs and around, Garma means hot weather, Multan's weather is very hot in summers, and Goristan means graveyad, Multan has too many tombs . hope you understand now .Multan is very old and historic city. from Alexander to Mongols they have witnessed so many

You guys in the city of saints. You went to the grave of Shah shams Tabriz. Who is Shams Tabriz ? Legend is he is the saint who the 12 century famous poet Rumi was inspired from and he followed him for 2 years as his disciple. After Shams left Rumi unannounced Rumi searched for his master teacher but couldn’t find him anywhere and he fell ill due to separation from his friend teacher and master . So they say majority of Rumi’s poetry is out of love for his teacher after shah shams Tabriz left him , in vainglorious ways that Rumi’s poetry is about love.
