I want to find tutorials for 7000x. All the others are for 6000 or 7000i.

I bought this machine because I trust Brother. I had a CS6000i and sold it for a Janome skyline S5. I realized quickly how much I missed my little brother for quilting small pieces and how easily it is to sew small projects without having the machine eat the fabric. I made 3 duvets on it perfectly. When I saw the CS7000X I bought it immediately and I LOVE IT. EXCELLENT VALUE

Yes yes yes! Exactly like the one I bought almost 10 years ago! Great machines and please read the instructions on how to keep it clean. Very important and helps to keep from bringing it to the "sew doctor" as often as other brands.❤

I bought mine so that I had an quality, yet inexpensive, and lightweight sewing machine to take to quilting project sewing days and on retreats. My "workhorse" machines are too heavy to move around and I wouldn't want to damage them. Gotta keep those charity quilts coming!!

Brother discontinued the CS6000i and this one is pretty much the same. It’s been a great beginner machine to teach my daughters to sew. Can’t wait to see what you think of it after you use it a while. Please give us an update !

This is a totally different machine than the CS6000i. This machine is designed completely different and HAS a METAL frame inside. The CS6000i has NO frame inside.

Is this a good machine for making dress shirts and suits (mohair, wool, and cashmere fabrics)? Is it also a good daily workhorse that'll last for years, and is easy to service and find replacement parts for?

The CS7000i does not have a metal frame inside. It is a super super light duty machine. The above CS7000X is a completely different and updated machine and HAS a METAL frame inside.
