Beautiful footage. Good info & tips. I decided on a big backpack. (with a smaller easy to compress backpack for tiny trips). BUT, I also bought a fold-out set of wheels for airports and flat areas for the big backpack. That passport issue is something I think about a lot, and I'm thinking about having checklists for "full checkout" and for "day travel." The hard part, in real life, will be to DO the checklist. But my plan of almost constant travel for a couple of years, means I gotta have systems. But then accidents happen. Stuff gets left behind. Once, probably around the time you were born, I wasn't in Venice, but Venezuela; stopped in the bathroom wearing some of those cargo shorts with giant pockets, camera fell out while I was doing my business. Lost ALL of my best pics. Film rolls in those days had 36 shots. All gone
