Your explanation of the economics and cost vs profit analysis is always cogent and logical. You'd be surprised at the number of people who simply do not understand return on investment and cost vs profit.

The 120 is the reason why I started watching your channel. I have an old 490D that is in excellent shape with a full forestry cage that is very similar to what you run. Bigger difference is your engine is more powerful but I love the economy of mine. Really glad to see your 120 out and working again.

Sycamore can be good sawmill wood but I try not to mess with it much. Problem is known as Ring Shake. Gets splits between growth rings. No bueno. It’s very pretty when quarter sawn. Pretty decent firewood. If you had the right splitter and backing equipment you could heat your house for two years with that tree. You’d have to use the big ol’ honkin’ trunk too though. Splitting firewood. Good times.

I only wish I could ask the few people watching why they would downvote such well made, informative, entertaining, and neighborly content. There are a few people that just don't get it. Maybe some people don't want to see a beautiful tree with colorful bark taken down, I guess. I know it's not Nutsy or DP.
