First Launch 2017 Audi R8 V10 Plus! Fantastic!

A little hint: The R8 V10 Plus is most fun when shifted...manually. Switch to Dynamic mode and shift manually, different experience, much more fun. Actually my first sportscar with DCT I shift manually all the time because it is so much fun.

A little hint: When doing a launch let the DCT shift for you for the best optimal launch.... but switch over to the paddles for literally everything else. ;)

Great pick up. Probably the only car that can hang with the turbo S at this price point from a dig. Maybe huracan close but that's a bit more coin. Bad ass ride. Enjoy

I had a 2017 GTR and I own a 2018 Audi R8 the GTR is still faster. I have mad respect for the GTR and I plan on having another GTR again. The R8 is definitely more exotic looking but the GTR just kicks your ass! It looks like a brick, but somehow defies gravity. Hands down to Nissan for the GTR. I love the R8 as well. Two different cars great in thier own right!

Ray S. Nope....both the R8's 0-30mph and 0-60mph times are quicker than those of the GTR. So how could it take off quicker than the R8?

***** You should watch "The World's Greatest Drag Race 6," by Motor Trend, if you haven't done so. The 2017 GTR was a part of that race. The only supercar that kicked out the line before before the R8 was the 2017 Acura NSX. But the R8 caught up by the time the car hit 60mph. Get this. The R8 hit 0-60mph in 2.6 seconds, and crossed the 1/4 mile line in 10.6 seconds. AMAZING!

I really wish people could get the name of the manufacturer correct. Tired of hearing it mispronounced. If you have the money to afford one or the ability to drive one then at least get the name correct.
