This song was produced in Fineness's bedroom Billie's vocal was recorded with her sitting on Finneas's bed. Finneas would swing his vocal microphone to her. Billie's first album was recorded that way. Finneas did send the completed recordings to be properly mixed and mastered

I Love how you do so many people. Like this song and the sooner called drive. I would never know so many different people because you know I listen to country mostly and listening to Hunter Flanagan because of you. Thank you so much for everything Daniel.

I like this because it's different. She's not quite singing but more of a rap. A cool pace. Her bloody nose distracts! It's visually stunning as the music.

Good reaction. Here's a trivia for you. The spot where you stopped the video the first time around 4:48 you can see those tall trees on the right. Those are the same trees in the movie ET where the kids on bicycles fly across the night sky with the Moon in the background.

One of the sounds in this song that takes the place of a hi-hat..is a sound that they recorded from a cross walk in somewhere like Australia..during the chorus section you can hear it..

She has come a long way in the 3-4 years since this tune, but it's quirky and fun I suppose. "Happier Than Ever" and "The 30th" (one of the two new songs she dropped today) are light years ahead of Bad Guy. As is pretty much everything else she has done, LOL. Thanks!

This was her first and probably biggest hit, but really doesn't show what she can do vocally. She's always better live. Her videos often don't reflect the song, this one a bit more than most. Oh and in an interview Finneas mentioned she had him record "Duh" about 17x until she found just the right feel she wanted.

Hi Daniel. Love the reactions but curious why you have put several reactions on your free KZbin channel this month but none on your paid Patreon channel? Are you moving away from that platform? The last one you put on there was Revolver last month and you still haven't done Sgt Pepper this month, or any other artists.. I am not trying to be critical but I would just like to know since I do pay to participate in that channel. It would just be nice to know the situation. Love your music and I hope to see Sgt Pepper soon

Thanks for your wise words at the beginning. I will recommend a song by Billie not being on the album: "Copycat", Mahagony Sessions. Great acoustic version.

So yr doing all these pop girls but you should REALLY do a reaction to the Queen of music for the past 40 years Madonna. She is a game changer with every one of her brave brilliant releases up to this day. Her creativity and artistry is not comparable to any one and she has set the standard so high that no one has a chance to ever catch up to her. An insanely talented and unique artist that broke the bounderies and through hard work and force of will redefined music and culture like no one before her. She is an absolute cultural legend and icon and the best selling female artist of all time for a reason. Every album of hers is completely different and she reinvented her sound and style with every new release and she was fearless and a force of nature that couldn't be fucked with or tamed by anyone. The only architect of her mythical and powerful legacy that broke all the rules and inspired millions of ppl with her fuck you attitude and unapologetic attitude. So maybe do Papa don't Preach or Like a Prayer or Secret or Frozen first and go on from there. Her caralogue is huge and influential and awe inspiring. And when will you react to some more Sonic Youth??? There's a whole universe to explore when it comes to them and they will blow yr mind... J

Yes she was a force in music, but her lyrics are so lame.

@@vp4744 Heya. So not true. She can get into a silly mood with lyrics sometimes but if you go through her discography you realise what a great and thought provoking and multi faceted lyricist she is. She is a pro when it comes to more serious and emotional lyrics. Go look it up if you have to. All through her career. You don't write lyrics for 40 years when you are crap at it... J

@@brownspiders2707 She was definitely above the rest of her peers, that's why she was so successful. But comparing with today's skill, depth, and sheer variety, I doubt she'd be rated as highly by the public or her peers. But she was unmatched for her era, don't get me wrong.

I wish people would stop trying to analyse pop videos and lyrics, it suggests that they can't speak about music in any real sense. It's not poetry, or a short film, it's pop music.
