It is no brainer that a car with battery capacity of 71 KWH will easily give range upto 500. While feeling amazed just about range, we also need to look BYD and Nexon from spec perspective. Nexon has 30.2 KWH giving range easily around 200 to 225. Battery is 2.5 times bigger in BYD compared to Nexon, Range would naturally be doubled but also price is double than Nexon and hence it is apple vs oranges. We can buy 2 Nexon in the price of of one BYD. That's real comparison. Besides those spec points, glad to see one of the Indian company is an early entrant into EV space compared to Chinese. Nothing wrong in having a fair competition but also we don't want a situation similar to mobile industry where Chinese companies have killed Indian companies with aggressive pricing which later entrant Indian brands in this space could not match and result is there to see in front of every one where there is hardly any Indian option available for mobile. I am sure this won't be the case for EV. Hence, though Tata would be using Chinese made battery and motor as of now, it is paramount that we support Indian brand and in current comparison, Tata is also providing similar value for money if not better if we do reall comparision rather than just looking at range. In longer run, batteries and motors will also start being manufactured in India.

That day is not far that our Indian made cars are totally Indian be battery motors or even the technology they are running on !!! Coming to the range comparison no point in comparing with Nexon as not only the battery pack but also the dynamics of the car is different as the weight n dimensions of e6 is anytime more , but at the same time if we compare it with cars that are giving similar battery packs and dimensions the e6 is out performing at least range wise ... as eqc , xc40 and others are not even claiming the range which e6 is delivering in real life !!! Once again can't wait for Tata to come up with their long range cars and show the world how it's done 🍻🍻

Boss nexon mid size ev car price is 18 lakh inspte of locally made with 30 kv battery with budding technology but byd big mpv ev cost you 29 lakh only even though imported that to with 70kv larger battery with byd proven and safe blade battery technology. More over byd give 5 lakh km or 8yr warranty on battery But tata give you 1.25 lakh km or 5 yr warranty So think logically that tata is charging you higher for that small car

@Noise Faktory Also would like to just comment a few thinga one BYD has a battery pack which is 2.37 times more than nexon so range is similar. Also i checked in the video your speed was about 60 and most of the times 40 with eco mode whenever you showed the meter in the video so your statement that your drived without any speed limit is wrong. Also it took you 11 hours for the journey can exclude 1 hour hault for dinner.

Hey we drove at an average speed of 100 kms many times while recording the meter we get cautious and slow down if it's a busy highway to avoid any mishaps ... there's no modes in the car just regen modes are there and in Eco regen the regeneration is max so we have driven in that mode mostly , we have even crossed 100 in patches ... coming to the timing of you have noticed we were stuck in a traffic jam for over an hour and also the dinner brake so ideally it took us 9 hrs or even less if you calculate

I live in solapur and my family member has bought tigor ev recently. If you are planning from pune to hyd you can get the first charger in urali kanchan ie 50kms from pune to top up then another charger is near indapur which is around 150 kms from pune and third is in solapur so till solapur you can cover comfortably.. can't say about solapur to hyd route.

Loved it..! 400 kms real world range must be a norm.. I seriously dont want to end up with 2 cars in my garage. I need that 1 EV which can I use both in the city and outside too. This car ticks all the boxes for me. I don’t care if this is from China. I am a consumer first and patriot later. My money is more important than serving some Indian companies who are like years behind in EV tech. Additionally, I doubt if the current Indian government will ever let Tesla come here. First its 30L at this price you have mg gloster, carnival, for tuner etc with 6-7-8 seating capacity. You don't drive 400-500km for commuting. But under 10L EV for commuting or city drive and ICE for long drives or festival trips preferable MPVs

I own both Nexon EV and BYD E6. The E6 is a Amazing car and much more advanced Battery and Electronics. As many mentioned the price is equal to 2 Nexon. But we can’t keep the second nexon in pocket as backup. When it comes to EV , range is the king. Nobody want unexpected charging issues and increase of BP due to range anxiety. I still want Tata EVs to come on top and 100% made in india. What i put here based on real life experience on using both the evs.

It does show wh/km infact they have a meter to gauge that ... charging wise this is the car where company suggests only fast charging and it charges at 60 kwh so if there's a 60kwh charger it's charges in an hour time

@@praveendabas7030 nope. Blade battery is cutting edge technology, not just in China but entire world. Tesla has made a deal with byd for blade battery. Warren Buffett is one of the key investors. Byd is rapidly taking the market as value car and for its quality and range in ev market all over Europe as well. It was also one of the earliest commercial EV manufacturer in the world. Hating on a country is personal affair but we must appreciate a good technology, be inspired from it and hope to out do it.

There is some wrong info in this video… Tesla doesnt use blade batteries… They have plans to buy blades batteries but still on papers.. Now tesla’s are using panasonic and CATL (LFP)batteries… There is rumours also that tesla dropped blade batteries plan to make cobalt free cars as blade batteries has more cobalt components… But there is no doubt that currently in #India BYD has the most efficient and advanced batteries…. By the way I like your videos… You showed us the real range of ev cars available in the market… Keep working guys…. ❤️

There is no confusion BYD is better any day hand’s down. For dame price you get better range .Plus BYD makes only EV and nothing else .while for MG they also make EV . So go for BYD

Iss car me kafi basic fetures he abb ane wali cars 500+ ho sakti he... but 400 km is enough for single charge...we can easily find charger .....in 100 km.....in most of places...battry 70+ kw ki he ....iss car me 7.2 kw kahi charger ka support hoga...basic cruise control bhi nahi he..may be..but next gen tata or mahindra bhi 500+ range aani chahiye.....for comercial and highway useer....
