Would love to hear ACTUAL OWNERS of these newer Continentals & their actual experiences after owning one. As a owner, do you still consider the 2017-2020 Continental a "Reliable" vehicle? How many mechanical issues has your Continental had? How many miles did you get out of it or have gotten out of it if you still own it? IF you got rid of it then why & how come? This kind of info would be super valuable to prospective used car buyers of the Lincoln Continental. Thanks to anyone giving their honest opinion after owning or still owning this car. The main reason I became VERY SKPTICAL of considering the newer Continentals is the fact it has a "Battery Saver Shut Off" feature. Which means, if it sits longer than ONE DAY in your driveway, the ENTIRE CAR SHUTS DOWN & you will need to jump start it. I confirmed this with a Lincoln Service Dept. Rep & this is 100% true. Being an elderly gentleman, I DO NOT drive my cars everyday & have no intentions to. So, this car sadly became off my list of potential used cars to look at. And that is a bummer because it truly is a beautiful car. I think I will go with a used low mileage Genesis G90 instead or a Toyota Avalon. Lincoln was super foolish putting this unneeded stupid "Battery Saver Shit Off" feature in this car. It sure would have been nice to hear actual owners of this car commenting in here instead of just a bunch of opinions about Lincoln/Ford & versus other vehicles.

I own a 2020 Continental Standard AWD with the 3.7 V6 and it does not need to be jump started after sitting a few days. Mine is well optioned and i drive mostly on the highway and average 25 MPGs. I have had no problems so far and i am really pleased with the comfort, quietness, and overall driving experience of this car.

Every vehicle made today has the battery saver “feature.” It has nothing to do with having to jump the car, you have either been given bad information or are just completely incorrect.

ALL Continentals 2017-2020 has soft close door feature. It was not an option or upgrade

How is it working out, any issues?
@edbarker86368 ай бұрын
To wrestling it has a feature that shuts off the lights after 10 minutes not the whole entire electrical system

Are there any differences in the front seats of standard vs the others. I tried one a d the seats were just too contoured. I don't know what model it was. I was wondering if it was worth my while to look at another.
@JSS18 күн бұрын
The seat styles are all the same. Sometimes the perfect position seats are more comfortable because of more bladders to adjust. The contour is for the most part the same.

What is the reason for Lincoln discontinuing the Continental? I was looking to buy one next year for my parents’ 50th anniversary.

They are cancelling all cars. It was decided several years ago. They phased out the Ford line first.

They phase it out to be a real limited car. 80s continental. And 2020. In 30 years will be back

Lincoln should bring back the Continental but it should be a EV.
