I think I just got really unlucky with Giddey - I watched Sage The Collector’s video last week and he pulled a ton of Giddey in his break!

A year plus later but damn. I just bought my first blaster, technically first basketball cards I ever bought and it was a half off chronicles blaster. Pulled 3 different Giddeys. Two inserts and a base. I wanted Cade, but I got one at least.

Yeah Chronicles doesn’t seem quite as fun as it used to be…I probably won’t rip as much as I did in 2020-21, but there are still a few formats I want to try out, so we’ll have some more Chronicles coming at some point

i do love Chronicles! i think the Bronze are my least favorite parallel. and my favorite format is the Hanger pack, mostly because of cost per card. thanks for sharing!

I’m not a huge fan of the bronze paper parallels, but the bronze chrome cards are really nice. They’re still pretty rare though, even with increased print runs. I’ve been opening Chronicles retail since 2018-19 and I’ve still never pulled a bronze chrome parallel!

It’s an Update set so they have players in the uniforms of their new teams for players that were still featured in their previous team’s jersey in the regular Optic set that came out earlier in the year

One of the worst sets in the world. Absolutely floods the market with 100s of rooks. Should only be one true rookie card per set in my opinion like the good old days.

I think it’s a fun product for someone who just wants to rip some cheap retail packs and get a bunch of rookie cards. Sure, they’re not as valuable as most other rookie cards out there, but this is a low-end product. The days of just one rookie card per set have been long gone for years, and I don’t think that’s going to change any time soon.

Yes, blasters do have a 75th parallel, but only for the Rookies & Stars set. All the other 75th parallels can be found either in hobby or in other retail formats. For example, Classics has a 75th parallel in the fat packs and Score has a 75th parallel in the hanger packs.
