This is the new Corvette Z06, and we’ll get the big news out of the way first: it’s being made in right-hand drive. It marks the first time we might be able to buy the most athletic ‘Vette officially in the UK. But with 670bhp, it’s also the world's most powerful nat-asp V8 you can get. And in Z07 spec it has carbon wheels and a ginormous wing. Oh, and it also makes a fabulous noise. I saw an orange 2022 pass me on the highway it actually caught my eye and made me visit this site on some research. Absolutely gorgeous the best corvette made in my opinion, The orange is beautiful up close this video doesn't do it justice. I purchsed a 2022 Silverado Traill Boss because thier truck line is really taking strides in thier looks. I will say some things in the interior are cheap where GM shouldnt be skimping. The amount of money we are expected to pay for he product they need to stay quality as well as performance lasting which built thier product. Still love it though.

That's not even mentioning something like a straight piped F50, those are just god level machines. The new F8 and SF90, really cool looking but....not future legend status. The new Z06 (Z07 pkg) seems potentially much more exciting to drive than an F8

I was in Bowling Green when the 2 tornados came through at night on Dec 11. The corvette plant there was fortunate it didn’t get destroyed like so many hundreds of homes and factories in Bowling Green. There was a fire on the roof- perhaps from downed electrical lines and the employee entrance was damaged. But all in all it survived. Not so for SO many others. 12 lives lost and hundreds homeless. Pray for Bowling Green and the rest of the towns and families impacted by this storm.

My local Chevrolet dealership doesn't mark them up. Granted, what that means is that they don't have C8s in the showroom. They are sold before they even get delivered. So, you either have to order one and wait or make sure you are on their "lists" so that they reach out to you first.

I got one a few weeks ago. And I agree, it's amazing this came from Chevrolet. I've owned lambos, mclarens, and previous crazy corvettes, and I'm still in awe of how "good" the car is. Looks badass, super comfortable, interior is better than most exotics......just needs more power, and that high pitch scream....which is what the Z06 is going to fix. :)

As an American, it's my opinion these are the best cars in the world. And here's why: They are priced so that ANYONE in the middle class can save up some money and get one. One thing I don’t agree with is that the Z07 is equivalent to RS model! This is not fair. RS is much more track focused car and it is not street friendly. Z06 is equivalent to GT3 touring and Z07 to GT3 with highest possible aero and track focused equipment. If Chevy decide to compete with RS model it will be perfect to see what are they capable of

Fuel cut is supposed to be 8600rpm but it looks like it went to 8800-8900rpm when he revved it. I wonder if it only lets you do that in neutral.

Awesome review! The Z06 is by far my favorite corvette and that’s hard to do as my previous favorite was the C7 ZR1. Just the C8Z’s masterpiece of an engine, it’s sound, it’s 670hp just did it for me!

As an American (and a Vette fan since I was a kid) I am so proud of Chevrolet. A lot of people are angry about the changes with the C8 but my god how can you not pay it loads of respect? As a European would say, "it's absolutely mental" how much they are giving you and how much they are competing with the world for such a low price. It's one of the few things that are too good to be true, but actually are. Very proud American here!

That's definitely the cars best angle. That's my biggest problem with the styling though, it's not consistent. Despite all the pro's and my total apreation for its value, I struggle to love it.

Wow! As a previous owner of a C6 Z06 and current owner of a 911, I’m very excited by the new car! That’s exactly what I was hoping for. A naturally aspirated engine adversary to the Porsche GT3. In the future, the ZR1 can take the fight to the Porsche Turbo S. I only think it’s weird that Z06/Z07 names! I would adopt the Corvette Z06 and Z06 RS names! I think it sounds much better and would push Porsche buttons even more! 😈

Z06 is a code for a performance package that was available on a 1963 Corvette. Z07 is another code for an additional performance package. Z06 just happened to get used as a "name" for a performance model in 2006. Z07 was the code for another advanced performance package available on a Z06 in 2015 and continues. What's next? Probably not much before the Corvette loses it's internal combustion engine for the C9 most likely.

@@morepanicboy7120When the C6 ZR1 came out that was the comparison. I have more than a few magazines with those two! By the time the C7 ZR1 came out, there was already a GT2 RS to face it. So, who knows? By the time the C8 ZR1 is launched maybe there will be a next gen. Turbo S and no new GT2 RS.

Great presenter! I wanted to hate on these cars because they do not have even the option for a 6-speed manual, but these cars are so amazing in every way I can't hate on them. They are simply GLORIOUS! They are the working man's supercar that is knocking on hyper car territory. WOW!

This is the car you want. never forget its a GM Chevy product which means when it comes to maintenance, its not going to kick you in your financial nuts as would any other supercar. This is a long term purchase, not a flip and forget buy. Its a car that will provide you all of the joys of a supercar but non of the financial pain that drags continuously along as is the case with other supercars. you can change your own oil here, not spend the price of a small hatchback.

The silver one is perfect as is . I wouldn't do a thing to it. Maybe a very slight lowering to remove some of the wheel gap. The color, the wheels, the interior. Just beautiful. The z07 is a bit too busy.

I was planning on buying a Benz e63s because the interior caught my eye and the v8 engine but this courvette might have something else to say. I still think the e class Benz interior is a lot better but I’m not to big on the face lift exterior and this courvette is so beautiful. The interior is not bad at all as well that all red interior alone just catches my attention

The damn thing already looked like a Ferrari to me - like a less rounded version of the 360 Modena. Now with that engine, it certainly sounds like one, too. I thought the C8 sounded very wrong with those looks, but now I just WANT one!

Don't forget, the ZR1 and Zora are both definitely coming - think GT2 and 918. Normal people can afford a Z07 if we really want one, but the ZR1 will be at least 50% more and good luck even seeing a Zora in real life.

Ferrari could have made a 700PS/690BHP, 9000rpm, 103.9m bore, 81mm stroke, 110mm bore spacing, 5.5L V8, that had 95% of the acceleration and past the pollution standards for 10 years. The only 2 things to consider are the development costs and competing with McLaren.

The odds are 100% because they already said it is definitely happening. However, the question is when, and how many will they allocate? Will every one be spoken for with speculators and price gouging run amok? The odds are very high that will happen as well. But the folks in Europe are used to that sort of thing as it seems to happen with every desirable car over there so... At least in the USA there are a large number of dealerships that refuse to price gouge. Whereas with companies like Porsche and Ferrari, price gouging is there standard business model. In the USA if you want a Corvette at MSRP, you just have to get on the waiting list, and be willing to wait. I don't think anything like that exists in Europe, does it?
