Have to say Michael , this is one of your best vlogs , from the useful information , great editing , drone shots and balanced opinions , you are definitely improving !. It is so easy to be cynical , moan & whinge about the markets especially from some locals , it is the same old predictable negativity every year , they conveniently ignore high inflation , covid , Ukraine , wages , market rent & wholesale increases saying it is all a rip off , the number of people attending this spectacular event suggests the demand is still there and the prices are much the same as any other market in the UK , but none of them have this unique setting and generally the food & drink tastes good. Really like the extended events and stalls by the South entrance , mustn't grumble about the crowds on the opening day , of course , it's going to be packed , common sense would also advise you to avoid the weekends too ! :)

Your filming is excellent, in particular your drone shots. Are there no restrictions on Drones in the town centre. Obviously you couldn’t fly the drone from the market, where did you fly the drone from that’s safe. I’m coming through from Glasgow this week , weather permitting. Great video, I’m sure a lot of foreign tourists will come because of it,

There is far to many areas that is dark Mikey the place is not lit up good enough it would make it even look better a lot more Xmas with lighting all the dark areas lighting up all the trees with Xmas lights would make the place a lot better and I do mean all the trees not just one or two it would make the full gardens look fantastic and the parents and the kids would love it they must do this next year all you do is put a water tight socket on every tree all controlled with A type RCBOS a great job for the councils sparks I take it it's the council that makes all the money out of this Xmas market
