Electric IS LAME .... Gas RULES !!!
@Carlsmower2 жыл бұрын
It’s pretty hard to beat gas that’s for sure

My experience after 1year, the electric Husky does a great job collecting grass off my large flat back yard. The Husky even has an extra power burst when it senses extra long thick grass. I alway seem to get a full bag for emptying. Grass volume and cut finish is comparable to my last three Ariens gas mowers. Electric wins with maintenance. All I have to do is take my blade off for sharpening. Just tilt the deck disconnect the blade. Cleaning under the deck is very easy. Electric is very expensive! Those batteries add up! You do get what you pay for though. Those same big 300 batteries fit nicely on my Husky trimmer and blower. In ten to fifteen years I am sure I will forget the pain of the initial purchase. Note: Husqvarna only offers the heavier W520i mower featured in this video. The lighter consumer version is no longer available🙁

Would not buy another Husqvarna!!!! My walk behind mowers electric start gas mowers battery died. No way to replace it unless you build your own! They won’t sale just the battery, they want to sale the whole start box…for 249$! Yeah, terrible service…that’s what happens when you buy from them!

I have the consumer model. I really like the mower, great suction and bag filling. The battery management is excellent. I use the 300 batteries. The one that’s came with the mower were way under powered. The 300 batteries yield 2x1Hr on my yard. Overall very happy with my husky mower.

No fools (grass cutter's owners) are going to buy this for $1,200.00. Most mowers are 21 to 22 inch, this is 20? Overpriced battery was the main concern of the down time & cost. FYI: Husqvarna gas lawnmower, tiller and snow thrower are dead. They are now in the history books.

Common @Husqvarna commercial mower, commercial blade that thing looking thin and chincy, cut quality #1 priority in commercial cutting. Sure battery power consumption and all this is a trim mower not a main so batteries are not as big as a problem.

I have recently brought the non commercial version of this the lc353ivx and really wanted to like it(mind you it is used commercially) but over the time we have been using it its really not what it could be. The batterys dont really do what they say and cost a fortune,the plastic cover on the top handle digs into your hands (luckily it comes off)the plastic washer that stops the drive bar wobbling around in the main handle has broke and Husqavarna have no idea what the part is despite me sending pictures and it being on pretty much most of thier mowers.The grass box has that wierd bit that goes into the mower said bit gets in the way when emptying the box.the list goes on. Im sorry but i really feel i wasted money on the mower and will go with Mountfield next time.Oh and the part that has the dead man handle attached to it the bit on the left of the handle bar with the big orange safety switch and the small thin wire coming out cost upwards of £40 if the wire snaps.

1Hr for the BLI 300 is very optimistic. My experience has been 30 min at the most. I need 2X BLi300 batteries for my 1Hr lawn cut.
@Carlsmower2 жыл бұрын
I agree after using it it’s an incredible machine bed an hour off of one battery is definitely pushing it goes respect that I had gotten prior to one boxing it so I just use that data thanks for catching that in your input

How long is it with the handle moved over?
@aaronbounds13363 жыл бұрын
It's great you can operate the mover inside without being exposed to exhaust.
@Carlsmower3 жыл бұрын
That is one nice feature of the battery powered mower, though we never recommend operating power equipment inside - lol!

Do you have the gas-powered W520 or just the electric version? I’m curious about the gas-powered setup. I’m not a landscape professional, but I do like having high-quality tools for my yard. I’m in Stanwood.
@Carlsmower3 жыл бұрын
I do not yet. Not sure I trust the transmission they are using (it is different than the electric) Most of my commercial operators are running the Exmark 21's and I suspect it will be better. I will let you know if and when I get a gas one.
@mattz57703 жыл бұрын
I’m putting the W520 against a Honda HRX as my next lawnmower. I know they aren’t quite on the same level, and I know it goes without saying that Hondas are great machines, but lots of people have one, and I like being the person who has something unique in his garage. However, if the transmission isn’t any good, sounds like a reason to shy away.
@Carlsmower3 жыл бұрын
It may be fine. But it is a transmission that other manufacturers have used and ditched. Check out the Exmark 21 it’s around $1100. Bags like a champ in our northwest wet.
