You need to add strain relief in that front brake line. First jack up the bike so the front wheel is off the ground completely, the fork cant travel more than this. Then add a little extra slack between the two clamps, clamp the line here. If you do this, then the brake line will never be under stress and you don't risk line being pushed into the wheel or being caught on something else.

This is a great little micro dual sport. I’ve had mine for a month and did a few upgrades: handguards, clone Mikuni VM26 flanged carburetor, UNI 2 stage pod filter, 16 tooth front sprocket, and an RK chain. It zips along great and I can comfortably ride both in the woods and on the streets with a top comfortable speed of 55 mph. That seat however, is like sitting on a 2”x4” after about 10-15 minutes of street riding.

@@what_the_fff Re: the seat, I’m going to purchase either 1 or 2 cm memory foam off of Amazon or eBay and try to re-upholster it with more padding. That should help quite a bit.

Can you please let me know if this bike has a vin number? My state requires a VIN, EPA and DOT on MCO and the MCO be notarized by the Dealer/ Seller or they will not process the paper work.

Almost identical to my hawk 125, but the dlx has 25 more cc, better clutch lever, and oil cooler which mine doesn't have, otherwise almost exactly the same, and I love my hawk 125, but of this was out at the time I'd have gotten this one

@adama1132 south dakota does out of state registrations, you have to go through clay county, but I sent them my MCO and the bill of sale, along with affidavit affirming that it had everything needed to be street legal and they sent me a link for payment, they sent the plates out right away and the title came a few weeks later because they only print titles on specific months

@riggsreacts wisconsin is extremely picky when it comes to things like these, if the system doesn't recognize the first 3 letters of the vin they don't even consider it for registration, even though it has everything in it to be street legal

The Templar even at its lowest height setting is a very tall bike. You could definitely ride it at 5’3 but I don’t think you would be happy with it. The storm would be a much more enjoyable bike for you. I’m going to be carrying more storms. I’m just waiting for the shipment to come in.
