The Trout Derby actually has 11 rewards. There's the one time Tent kit, and then a repeating list of 10 items. The start point on the list is random, but after the first one it will always go in the same order. This includes the rewards mentioned, but also diamonds, crab pots, farm warp totems, mystery boxes, and more. SquidFest just tracks catches, you don't turn in anything. The tier also doesn't require that quality of squid to be caught, it is just amount. The rewards and amount requirement for each tier are set by the day. You can get the book by reaching iridium tier on either day, but you can only get the book once. On subsequent iridium tier rewards,it is replaced by seafoam pudding and mystery boxes. The Green Rain didn't do much because you had already decorated everywhere. It causes new weeds, trees, and vines to spawn in empty spaces. These cannot overwrite grass, decorations, and debris though. Grown trees will temporarily change into Wild Trees, but will change back the following day. The Desert Festival is massive. There are actually 5-6 different racers that are chosen from each day. My favorite is Cactus Crawler, the rock crab with a cactus fruit shell. The bachelors and bachelorettes sell their unique items at their booths, including the previously unobtainable weapons. In particular, Penny sells both pieces of furniture she'd previously make people choose between for her room redecoration.

Thank you!! The Desert Festival is more like the Harvest Festival in the Fall with all the mini games. Winter Night Market is more for buying stuffs, even the Fishing from the Sub is something you buy with Gold. Because this (and the Harvest Festival) uses an Event Money, that is the difference. You had good luck! YAY!! Wonder what the Sus Guy wanted with you after the races....

Pretty sure it's not reproduceable because it gives a full heart to anybody you gift it to, and if you have multiple you can give as many as you want because they don't count as weekly gifts. Only place I've seen it is from Lewis' prize machine, and it's not even on the shipping log. I did some duping just to test it out, thinking it was just a universally loved item and gave one to Elliot, who had zero hearts. It brought him up to 1 heart with unique dialogue, so I thought "Why not? It won't work" and immediately gave him a second one. I got him up to full friendship in 1 day. Granted, you'd need an exorbitant amount of tickets to do that legitimately, but judging by that I don't think you can actually make it yourself.

You forgot to mention that in trout derby, there's also a chance to get mystery boxes! I got 3 of them when i traded the gold ticket thingy, and basically received 2 warp totems (mountain and farm) and 2 iridium ores.

Hey Sharky. According to the wiki, the Calico eggs disappear once you leave the desert. You aren't able to keep them. 'It is not possible to take the remaining Calico Eggs to the next day, as they disappear once the player leaves the Desert for the day.'
