I'm not mad at it. I think it's for a slightly different market - more of a scale truck than a high performance crawler. It's not a Power Wagon, and I very much appreciate that. It's unfortunate to see the same junky servo and underpowered motor, but let's be real - nobody buys an SCX24 and leaves it stock anyway! 😆 To me, this seems to be a decent addition to the SCX24 lineup, but I definitely want to see something new and more innovative very soon!

It is different, and one of the last bodies I would have thought of. I would really like to see a modern truck body (like a ford superduty, dodge ram 01-newer), a newer z71 chevy or gmc. Any truck newer than 1998

Personally, I think people would be better off just buying the body and building the rest of the vehicle from Injora parts. I'm guessing it's just the Deadbolt links, etc.

Outside of the body, it's getting harder to recommend the sxc24 platform with everything else that's available these days, especially for $150, that's just too much for this platform anymore. Great vid though, my sons and I watch your stuff all the time, thank you!

@@Solatso yeah it really is. I think the Mai point is just its reputation (basicly starting the mini crawler scene) and, much more important, its huge aftermarket Support. If it wasnt for that, i think there would be alot less sales.

13:25 I didn't buy the fcx24m when it came out. I am surprised you like this one more. I only saw different reviews on the fcx so I am glad to know they are comparable. Also i was really hoping horizon had a deal going forward with proline to get their good tires on all releases like the power wagon!

I’m surprised he said that too. Especially when you look at reviews and they perform very well out of the box. And yes. The tires on these axial have always felt a little on the cheap side. A wheel and tire upgrade out of the box on axial is a must for sure.

Love the look but can’t justify buying a full RTR just to gut it and keep the body. I liked the Power Wagon too but didn’t buy one for the same reason, they won’t let you have one without all the junk.

I have been wanting to do a budget over landing scx24, but I never liked any of the body styles. But I love this one!!!!! But I’m not sure I like 4 runners more, so I’ll probably just get a fcx18 because they have the two speed trannies and switchable lights.
